Start of the week

My god January is flying by..

This week hasn't been the most amusing. I ended up last Monday being sent to the wrong funeral parlour! My poor uncle was in a state so must have in his grief gave me the wrong place.

The kids and my fella all came with me to arrive at a total strangers farewell service.. What the hell can you say to that situation..

When he came up he gave me the time and place which i wrote straight down on my calender, id arranged for the flowers to go to the undertakers but never managed to go see her off and pay my last respects.... how respectful is that to go to the wrong funeral...... it could only happen to me that's for sure.

If it didn't upset me so much it would have been amusing.. it probably was to all that heard afterwards..lol

I got home in a bit of a state as i couldn't make the other parlour in time so then gave myself a migraine worrying about it, that then turned into a face ache that lasted 6 days and nights.. oh what a week its been.

The dentist thinks being run down and tired as she called it was to blame as abscesses came up on my jaw and face, Ive had teeth trouble in the past, but never as bad as these buggers have felt. A week on scrambled eggs and soup, munching down painkillers and anti biotics trying to get through and not pull my hair out.

I am missing salsa so much. Its been nearly a year since we last went. My fella worked away for 6 months last year on a roofing and cladding job and ended up hurting his shoulder, xrays have now confirmed he has what is known as a frozen shoulder so everyday we are going swimming trying to get it to thaw.. Without the use of it he can't do salsa... so hopefully if we keep doing what we are it will heal and we can get back to dancing with our salsa friends again. he keeps telling me to go alone, but i want to dance with him, not other guys. So ill wait and hope this sorts itself out sooner rather than later.

This week its head down and back into work mode. Ive been going at it really hard for the last year working solidly on the stuff that makes them work, and indeed its going well, but i know theres more i can do so am on a mission to put my heart and soul into my business.. We haven't much of a social life at the moment so i don't mind.

My fellas doing really well, he wont do any more roofing work as it was only supposed to be 6 weeks worth. But his website building and SEO side has taken off big time, so its now going to be all that he does which means i get him at home too.. 6 months without him tells me no matter how much a pain he is, i don't like it when hes not here.. According to him i have no one to moan at so get bored..lol

Tonight I'm horse riding with my friend Mandy down the stables. Out of everything that's changed in my life that has remained constant.. Every Monday I'm feeling the wind through my hair and doing something i love very much. Mondays now are my favourite day of the week..

Welcome 2011

After a much needed break I find myself here for another year, fresh hope and starting a new year.. Lets hope 2o11 brings some good stuff.

I lost a very dear friend on Christmas day, so that hit home pretty hard, so Christmas here has been a bit of a blur non entity, I felt sorry for my kids bless they had such a miserable time.

I'm looking forward to kicking up my riding and restarting salsa, its been 6 months with no dancing thanks to my fella taking a job which took him away from home for months on end.. To top that were still waiting to be paid for it! Christmas came early for this guy..

Ive really missed my salsa and hope the new year brings some sunshine now..

It was a year of operations, illnesses, work work work while juggling a house full of teenage hormones triplets who don't like each other very much and the hope that they would for once clean their bedrooms... Welcome back to life in the madhouse!

Its been too long since Ive been the brown eyed girl.. I feel more like the black eyed one looking at the bags under them this week...

I'm hoping i can change that now and enjoy a new year..

Riding day

Woweeeeeeee Its Monday, Ive been looking forward to today..

As a treat my nan paid for me to do a hack on my b/day, sadly i wasn't capable of riding anything let alone a horse so had to cancel it :(

Today as the weathers been so lovely and I'm back to being fit Ive booked up a jumping lesson with a friend from riding so at 2pm today we are gonna be out in those fields and hopefully staying in those saddles, Jeans looking as forward to it as me and has already been texting ! yes another early bird..lol

I did ask my fella to see if he could borrow Marks car and come along to take some pictures (its a convertible so perfect that way) but hes snowed under with work.. I know he didn't come to bed til 4am so understand totally, i admire his dedication so much, there's a lot happening for him this week so ill go along today and tell him all about it when i get back tonight !! (i bet he will look forward to that one) lol

Its back with Lauren at 4 then back for me for my normal lesson at 6.30 ! followed by tea and the NVQ so its another late night but a perfect way to start the week for me. I'm so excited.

Ive got up extra early done all the emails and packing and ready to roll..

I was disappointed that i didn't get the hack and spent my b/day in bed but some things are worth waiting for... Lets hope today's one of those days..

Burning The Candle At Both Ends

Its been a totally brilliant week ! so much has been happening hense my lack of blogging...lol

Where do i start?

Sunday; We went to our friends house for a BBQ with the kids, it was a real giggle i ended up staring in my kids version of a home movie with a dinosoar as my leading male but thoroughly enjoyed myself , The weather was glorious so we all made the most of it and stuck on Shakira, dancing out on the patio ......I would show you the photos but i looked like a chicken ! lol

Monday; Was the all day and night Dancecuban fiesta party day ! OMG This i have to say has got to be one of the best parties ive ever been to, we did class, after class trying new things, my kids were all up on stage doing regaetton with Sharon! that was brilliant even the boys loved it. By 6 i had to pop home to shower and change and drop off the kids, that was the hardest part of the day sitting there waiting for my eldest to come home at 7 was deadly i honestly wanted to go to sleep ! talk about a lightweight !! lol

We went back for the evening party without the kids so could enjoy the mojitos and they didnt let us down, the whole event was one not to be missed, so much atmosphere that place was so alive, we were treated to drumming with Jose and his group, Ariel did Orisha and then had everyone lined up in a mass of excitement and regaetton, i will never forget that night, I had some brilliant dances with my fella not to mention some of the guys there, they are the ones i used to look at it owe and would hide up or pretent to be changing my shoes when they even so much as looked at me, now we're dancing with them ! it was totally amazing..

Tuesday: I woke up again with a dreaded migraine, serves me right for doing so much the last 2 days, using energy i didnt have but decided id find it anyway , I paid the price.. Id still do the same tomorrow though and wouldnt have changed a thing, sadly i missed my riding as i wasnt fit to ride, the day was a blur of sleep and elephants in my head...hehe

Wed; I finally started to load in the new gear ! its taken me days, we were either out with our friends or me in bed in between so i was glad to see the site filling up again..

I wore one of my new silk dresses to the salsa evening and have never had so many compliments! im getting better at being able to wear dresses now and enjoy wearing them to dance in... some of the girls have ordered them so if we all turn up dressed in the same we will just join up to do rueda !! lol where theres a will theres a way, dont they say.. :)

Thursday: Again back to salsa ! my god are my legs killing me now, I had the most amazing dance with a young man who certainly knows how to shake it..lol My word that danced pushed me but apart from standing on him at the start (nerves) i got through it and went home knackered and completely on a high !! a few of us girls sat outside under the stars last night to cool off, it was breath takingly beautiful , the moon was so low it felt like you could reach out and touch it ! Thursday nights are amazing up there, we have such a brilliant group of friends, it feels like you're part of something really special.......

Today; Im a wee bit stiff i will admit ( understatement) but have managed to get through the housework and orders, so im gonna try enjoy the sunhsine, my house is empty (and very peaceful) the kids are all out and my fella is in a meeting for the afternoon.. lol Ill tell him ive been really busy of course, but go sneak out in the garden to do some sunbathing..hehe

Tonight we are out again ! theres a salsa night at the Talk not to be missed ! so im not gonna..lol

Tomorrow im aiming to hit the Keir and Rompe the night away in style... so by next week i should be feeling so fit ! .................

Fit to drop of course.... lol

Belated birthdays

Its nearly the end of another week! yipee that weekends nearly upon us again...

Yesterday was a bit of a blur, i came down with one of my dreaded migraines so got to spend my birthday stuck in bed most of the day ! lol normally I dont ever get a lie in here so i suppose i can say i spent the day doing things i wouldnt normally do .. it was just one of those things but thankfully although i missed my hack out with the horses i have rescheduled it and thankfully made it to the meal out with our friends last night..

That made up for the whole day we met up with our friends and spent the evening thoroughly being pampered and my fella thoroughly enjoying too much wine and celebrating for me.. haha

Hes guaranteed to get any party started thats for sure.. I had a lovely night and went to bed very happy... pity this morning i got up and the ruddy things still banging in my head ! I wouldnt mind if i had downed a few vodkas id even say i deserved it ...I wish i had done now...lol

Im looking at a huge vase of flowers this morning staring at me, you guys must know me pretty well I love flowers ! I also got Lillies and bluebells from one kind guy who had the misfortune to be here working with my fella when my migraine came tuesday (quazimodo look and all) so bless he turned up yesterday peeping round the door timidly to see what i looked like ...lol I did tell you that its pretty scary .... you are the only person apart from Sandra and Fay whos seen me like that... so ill accept the flowers happily as they are my favourites but dont tell anyone what i looked like please !! haha

Right im off to bed to try and get shot of this elephant, ive been packing since i got up kept the customers happy but need to get right by tonight, its salsa night and im not missing that for nothing........ so ill see you guys later !

Sangria Nights

Its been a brilliant weekend, we were just going to chill out and not do alot as my eldest was off camping but theres others just as spontanious and mad as us out there that changed the whole weekend for us.....lol

Yesterday our friend came round and asked us if he could borrow our daughter for an hour to go shopping with him, brilliant i thought as the boys were all out on trips and it was only her at home, she also loves shopping, so to get time on our own sounded great, we were both fighting over the bath who was going to jump in first..haha

Anyway within an hour as promised he brought her back armed with bags full of fresh food stuff that he then startedto unpack and prepare in my kitchen!! i had to giggle as i couldnt quite work out why he was unpacking his shopping all over my worktops but i daren't say anything so just looked on amused... lol

He stood there with Laurens help and prepared the biggest pot of steak stew i have ever seen, the vegetables were amazing, the kitchen smelt amazing ...lol

Our friends came back to ours to share the meal and my fella got the firepit working, the kids were so excited i couldnt get them to go to bed.. The whole night was totally lovely, we sat outside til the early hours drinking home made sangria eating so much good food and all thoroughly enjoyed the night, it wasnt planned and was totally memorable ..

I got to open my birthday gifts early (i was asked to) they had got me the most beautiful hanging led light set that now hangs proudly on my apple tree, it changes colour from blue, green to red and lights up the garden lovely... sitting there by that fire just chatting and enjoying the night is the type of thing we love doing, my other gift was a beautiful glass storm lamp in my favourite colour which now takes pride in the center of my table........... How thoughtful was that......

When i asked what inspired him to want spend his day cooking for us he said that steak was good for iron levels and as id had a bad turn the day before he wanted to help and come cook a nice meal ! that is one of the nicest gifts ive ever had...

Not many people surprise me like that, its the type of thing i would do for someone, but you dont expect others to think the same do you, so last night we got to spend a wonderful night with our friends and kids and share the night, just like they shared their day..

They are taking the kids away next weekend to their house for a sleep over !! my god are my kids excited, they havent stopped talking, its the first time they have ever all been out together and we have had a kid free zone.. im not sure yet what me and my fella will do yet with such valuable time (but im sure ill make the most of it..lol) its the first time anyones ever offered to give us a break like that... the kids love being up there so i know they will enjoy themselves, so i just wanted to say Thank You to them...

What you did was so sweet and very much appreciated.. the steak is going for round two tonight as it was that good, and enough for an army so tonights dinner is also down to you, you've given me one of the laziest weekends ive had in ages, no cooking or working just being able to enjoy the sunshine outside in my garden all day .. its been really lovely.....

The highlight of my night was definately that tin though !!lol the kids have been telling all their friends about that ghostly lucky hand we have hidden amoungst the plants !!........... (it was brilliant) half of the neighbourhood now believe we have a severed hand in that tin and want to see it !! lol

Well this weekends certainly brought many surprises, i thought it was going to be pretty uneventful as we couldnt get out with Ryan away or do much.. but its turned out absolutely brilliant...

Warmth

What a beautiful day to wake up to.. The suns shining and the birds are in full swing singing away, Ive been waking up in the best possible way and am full of smile this morning..
We had a meal with our friends last night (thank you x) and got to do some rueda which was brilliant fun, so i expect to be thrown around the lounge during photos today as im dying to see if he can remember the moves..

Its amazing what the sun does to you just that little sneak of the daffodils all trying to peek through to see if springs arrived, im feeling so happy this morning..

I did try and wake my fella up early to make the start i hoped, but Mr Travolta isnt budging yet, two cups of tea later and hes still 'waking up !' ive been up there slung open the windows to let the fresh air help me out and all he does is pull the douvet up higher over his head....hehe

Today is photo day, its been a while since ive done any at my place but the gardens looking good considering what mother nature threw at us and im hopeful ill get to torment the photographer as i go along, hes going clay pigeon shooting later with Jane from salsa so i have to work quick today ... try telling him that !

Anyway time for another cuppa and then if i cant wake him up im getting out that tripod..

No rest for the wicked today, and wicked feels my sense of humour this morning, thanks to a brilliant night out with our friends..

La Cuba Ritmo

Yesterday was such a great day.......

I spent the afternoon practising with my fella as he keeps throwing new moves at me,we were only going to do an hours practising but ended up having such fun it went on for most of the afternoon.. I was knackered before i went out.. lol

I came to a point with my dancing where i was feeling really frustrated with myself, I let my head and hang ups hold me back, Yesterday helped me so much with that side..even down to those little things , its really helped..

Since we started dancing and having the salsa lessons i felt like id stepped into something good, but i dont feel like that today, i feel like im part of something really very special not just good..

Last night we all went down to 'The Talk' to see one of the hottest cuban bands perform live 'La Cuba Ritmo' My god the night was brilliant, I came out of that place so happy it was untrue, even wiggling up the road to the car...........
We were part of the dancecuban family (thats what we are! ) friends of ours that make you feel like your'e part of one big family.............It really is a special feeling, everyone in the group wants to be there, we are all as excited about whats to come as each other and we all get on so well, its always such a giggle.. but its all down to 2 people, these people have added so much to our lives its untrue............Sharon and Richard........
I cant say enough how much these guys have given us and mean to me, Sharons bringing back my confidence week by week that i thought id lost, Richards turned my fella not just into my dream guy, as he didnt believe he could dance a step before,but also helps me, and last night we danced together where everything just slotted into place perfectly.. I wish to god i could have captured that moment on film...

I enjoyed that dance so much, the feelings still with me today..It was my first thought of the day and brought something special into my house this morning....lol

Its not just about the steps is it? You guys have taught us that through your passion, its being able to feel totally uninhibited on that floor and enjoying every beat, by just doing what feels natural its bringing out the best in each other.. in the most special way..

The band was amazing and the best live act ive ever seen, the music felt like it was going right through me..

My fella loves to dance with everyone from our group which is brilliant as watching them all smile seeing everyone so happy is such a great feeling, we all take turns to dance and wish there was more men sometimes but its not about how many dances you have, its about enjoying the ones you get ! (well thats my philosophy anyway) he was frustrated he couldnt get round to dancing with everyone, but for anyone he missed out on, im sure they'll be the first on that list Thursday..lol.. I had the most amazing 'Son' Dance with Max, it felt like id drunk twice the vodka i had when i walked off that floor,he was so smooth it really was magical..

I did take my camera, but this morning am giggling as theres not much on it, but thats down to enjoying my night (and yes quite a few vodkas)the night had only just started but once that band came on that was it,nobody worried about the camera.. but thats gotta be good right ..I know kevins got loads of photos, as i can remember him chasing us about on the dance floor with his camera.. so pass them over then Kevin!! lol

Today i cant be motivated to work ive done enough this week and am taking weekends off from now on, so im chilling with the kids as afterall it is Sunday, ive made giant papier machier hearts for their science homework which has devastated my kitchen (but great fun to do) so i intend painting them this afternoon and making a bit more before i start on that housework..what the hell i'll cope with the mess today and it will get done eventually, i want this weekend to stay exactly as its been..One of the best and certainly one for my armchair ...

Richard, Sharon, Penny, Jayne, Zenda, David, Roses and all you fun people out there, you've given me so much to look forward to..

So this weekend the smiles down to you lot...

Last night was one of the best nights we have had up the staithe, Sharon took the warm up and got us all doing the new regaetton routine..lol That was such a giggle, me and Roses were giggling our heads off.. Ive got 'I like to move it' running through my head still..

Heres steve dancing with zena, i managed to get a lot of video last night but still cant get me dancing with him properly, i either dont do what im told (nothing new there then) or he sets me off with a double spin everytime, so i stop at one and smirk at him wickedly.... its a good job he loves me thats all i can say...lol

Next week i am going to get us dancing together, and ill even try to do as im told..just for one dance anyway...we are all going to the Talk for one hell of a great night out, so ill make sure i take that camera

You'll see a little bit of everything in the videos, us messing up the rueda as we were doing our version of 'forgot that one' but as usual Sharon and Richard made everyones night such a brilliant one..

We had a friend of ours come last night, which was great, it was Ken from tuesdays class, this guys has me in stitches all night and between us we manage every week to get into trouble, but he really enjoyed himself, im so pleased !!

Its Friday and for the first time in a long while, ive got that Friday feeling..lol

Last night was such a good night, Sharon and Richard were such good fun, I had one of those nights where i couldnt get my feet to work with my head but still managed to have a great night out..

It was so nice to meet up with everyone, that place is so right everyones relaxed and just out for a great night of cuban style salsa and plenty of giggles..

I went home and ate the peanut butter as usual, so my resolution of not doing that after dancing didnt last long, i was starving...hehe

We did our fun warm up while concentrating on the body styling, and it really does make such a difference, watching Sharon and Richard dancing last night i was totally mesmerized, talk about sexy.. I dont know anyone who can dance like these guys do together, it really is something to see and feel, we all feel that place light up.............

We've booked up to go on a trip with them to see the band that came to give us a drumming workshop so with a mini bus full of our friends its one night we will all be talking about afterwards...

I had to smile last night as my other instructor who teaches us cross body came to the cuban class last night, it made me smile as i always dance cross body with him so to switch completely and do all that stuff he tells me not to do usually really made me smile, at the end of the night he gave them the biggest compliment ive ever heard him give anyone and said that the room was alight with energy, and that watching sharon and richard was amazing, so its official now sharon we all agree, your hips really dont lie and are the sexiest little movers in stalham..... hehe

Well if the new year carries on like this ill be more than happy..lol

Right time to get my head down to some work today im meeting up with everyone again tonight and hitting the Keir hardi (im such a little stop out this week) and lovin every minute of it.................

What A Week

Its been a really good week, so appologies for not posting, we have been busy enjoying ourselves..lol

Last week as normal it was riding monday, which was great but very testing on my legs and stamina...

The rest of the week was a blur of work and trying to get myself organised, i went up to see my friends thursday night to pick up some dresses and ended up in a jacuzzi, which made me giggle as i overslept the next morning and was very late in to work..ah well its not everyday you get to spend some unplanned time out and it was such a lovely evening, we had a full moon and a sky full of stars watching us and i must admit its the most relaxed ive felt in a long time, it was beautiful.......

Saturday we went back up this time though we didnt have to drive so my fella was able to have a drink too, ive drunk more vodka and brandy this week than i have the rest of the year..lol

It started off at a local pub watching a live band (and trying out some salsa moves) and ended up with me shutting 2 poor girls in a boot of the bands car (they fancied the driver so a good way of getting a lift i thought!)oops ...lol

The whole night was such a giggle, the music was great and the company even better.. we didnt get much sleep so i spent the whole of sunday asleep and missed the day..... but its been making me giggle all day when i keep getting flashbacks......lol

I even tried to talk some poor fella into letting me be ET for an evening and sit in the basket of his mobility scooter, which thankfully he declined (as i had a fella with me...hehe) he must be pretty flexable to be able to get up to anything in a shopping basket, i wasnt expecting that one...

Anyway our friend wrote about our antics before i got the chance to thankfully and it made me laugh that much today i nearly wet myself reading it so thought all you guys should have a giggle and read it.........................................ENJOY.........................................

Public Transport

Whatto! Weary travellers............

I have often found that public transport generally is in quite a poor state...........

Several people who I have spoken to say that they are unhappy with the general service and reliability...........Luckily we have a personal chauffeur so I don't find that I'm directly effected.........but I experienced it first hand on Saturday night and it was nothing short of.......HORRIFIC!!..........

We went to the pub to watch some live music and enjoyed the general ambience and atmosphere as vintage wine and vodka flowed freely.............

Everyone was in high spirits and the general mood was spectacularly good!...........

Eventually the band finished their set for the night............. and everyone began to consider making their respective ways home.............It was then............. that the QUANDRY FACED US!!......... And I began to ask the vital question "What choice is there for people?") at that hour of the night?) who live in a little village miles fom anywhere?

I watched in utter amazement as (before my very eyes) people improvised their transport measures!!.............

Some crammed into the boot of a taxi (I'm not sure if they get reduced fares for the inconvenience of having to travel lying down).............

And although they all took it in very good spirits............... the final result looked more like and exodus from a disaster zone than what honest decent people should be entitled to expect in this day and age!!

Others took turns with a mobility vehicle......... .

......until the batteries were finally worn out!...........

Some chose to put their transportation worries to one side for a while.........and simply

DANCE their way home!!!......

Others just began the long, desperate and exhausting CRAWL home on their hands and knees............. Ouch!!!...........

Some simply claimed 'Squatters Rights' for themselves and made a comfortable place on the patio for the night!!

So PLEASE!!!..........Write to YOUR MP demanding improved public transport for villages NOW!

Good morning everyone, im feeling on top of the world today..

Ive just had the most amusing breakfast consisting of a can of Guinness, a grapefuit and now i have to eat a boiled egg !! lol Well its all packed with iron and i needed extra energy so what the hell..lol

Wasnt last nights class such a blast, im so glad i went, i had to eat a whole loaf to get there but it was worth it, i wouldnt have missed that bachata for anything, did you all notice i avoided my fella though..

lol ...its not his favourite but i know if he was partnerning one of you lovely ladies he wouldnt moan, and it worked..................lol i think he actually really enjoyed it at the finish, he has said he will do it again.. yesssssssssss

Im having a good morning today i overslept, which was lovely ill admit, my alarm was set for 5am so i roll out past 8 to the kids horror, lol thats the quickest ive ever seen them move to get ready for school too, perhaps i should lie in more often, they didnt have time to argue ! hehe

Im still giggling about what my fella came out with last night ! hes slowing coming out of that shell, so appologies to making you blush Penny..lol my god it was funny though, how the hell he keeps going like that after being up 2 nights on the trott i honestly dont know, but his sense of humour really was in full swing last night, so it was a really good night.

I come home so wrapped up in the music i cant sleep, i end up eating peanut butter and drinking tea half the night talking about what a great night that was..lol

Today im cooking something nice, not sure whats on the menu yet, but im having a want to cook week so my fellas making the most of it and has left me to it, and as the musics so good this morning too i think today will be a good day..

The suns out, the wind is blowing the dead leaves away from my door for a change (into next doors garden hehe) so im gonna turn that music up and enjoy whatever the day brings..

Its nearly the weekend !!

Alright Jack

I feel so much better tonight , its Monday and Ive actually got out of the house away from work for an hour.............god it was lovely..

Tonight i was riding Jack, hes such a beautiful horse he does make my legs ache though ! I cant get them anywhere near his belly........lol

Tonight we all got some exciting news in a few weeks time we are starting the jumping.... yipeeeeee

God Ive missed that so much, i was always jumping at my last stables but looking back i dont know how i managed to stay on, my balance must be good that's all i can say..it wasn't down to my riding well that's for sure....hehe

I think that's probably why i loved it so much though, its was so exhilarating...

I'm so glad I'm learning technique and how to ride properly now, but theres still a part of me that loved going there Saturdays and jumping those courses, I'm tempted to go and do both places again but my fella wasn't so happy about that part.. lol

Ever since i was a small one Ive always wanted to show jump, I'm still small just a lot older now so its better late than never in my eyes........ roll on that first lesson, it cant come quick enough... I could do with some excitement ...lol

I was speaking to Kevin tonight as we were walking back, i miss going to help out at the stables but due to having to send out parcels Fridays and the bad weather we have encountered, i haven't managed to get there now for 3 weeks, that's got to change this week........Im going come what may.........

Ive worked out ill pack the stuff when i get back from Stalham and our salsa class so i can go and share those Polo's out .. apparently someones missed me...........lol my flirty horse Prince and a few of the poor sods there that have been doing my share..........bless

Its not about the work there, i know how hard work it is, but what it does bring me is inner peace, its sounds like a blond saying but that's exactly how i feel , so calm and content...

I come home shattered and so happy its wonderful, even my fella is pushing me to go back now, he knows how much it means to me being up there..im also very grumpy apparently..lol

I cant have a holiday this year but my grandmother always says "a change is as good as a rest" i never understood what she meant then, but do now.......

We've had a hard weekend with nothing but work and more work, ive tried to make it as pleasurable as possible (no dirty thoughts needed i have plenty of them already) lol but really could do with a change and some fresh air , my fella is a workaholic and wont hear of such a thing........ he'll just take his laptop outside.......lol

Im happy tonight, im now going to grab a lovely bath, a brandy (my back and legs need one) and chill out for an hour (probably fall asleep in there) ...lol

Its amazing really mother nature has a way of changing your day into a great one as much as music does..

I think ill take my headset along this week and see how good the two are together...lol

Thanks to a great group of people and one very beautiful horse ive managed to switch off from work and am smiling tonight.........

Rainbows

Im so thankful this morning, thankful the weather men were wrong and mother nature didnt bring us any more heavy rain last night.....

Yesterday could have been so much worse, the carpets are soaked but thankfully non of my stock was touched, last year i wasnt so lucky.........

Ive decided that although i love being up in the open, and listening to those birds while i work, i have to move the business now, i cant afford to take risks with my business, so im going to look for somewhere else, hopefully where i can still hear the trees and not feel hemmed in..........

My fella wasnt well at all last night, hes very grumpy too..lol all i could hear him saying was im never ill...lol we all are at some point, so i left him sleeping all night and spent some time with the kids talking about what good stuff they have planned for this week..........

I have help this week as sandra is in with them, so hopefully ill be able to sit and discuss where im going to move to, with my fella today and get those wheels in motion...

Its one of those things, i have to look at myself as being lucky yesterday, no damage was done, but i was warned that no matter what precautions have been made by us, they wont work...

My grandparents phoned last night bless, they were so worried, my grandad always says im the sister that does the work of the other 3 and he hates to see me struggle... but that is life, everyone goes through experiences and has bad luck, but theres always someone worse off........I dont look on yesterday as bad luck i looked on it as good....................... were ok.............

Today im starting to load up the new gear, im on a mission to get quite a bit done today, so the headsets charged up, im going to try and leave my fella in bed and get away from here early this morning.....

I also want to thank our friends yesterday for coming to help out...my fella wouldnt come and get me so i was concerned it was worse than he was saying, thankfully it wasnt but the fact i didnt ask and they just came, meant so much to both of us......... Thank You xxxx

Week Ends and Starts

Its been a really good couple of days, Last night we were in Stalham for Sharon and Richards Cuban salsa class, it was a really god night, but the best part most people usually miss..lol

Right at the end last night there were 4 couples left and Richard got us doing rueda, lol i havent laughed that hard in a long time, it was hilarious, we were going so quick all i could see was Adrian running around with his arms waving about! it finished a great night off as usual and added the icing on the cake for us all, Thursdays now we really look so forward to, its not just the dancing its such a sociable night, every ones always so friendly...

Ive booked me and my fella up for the body styling classes now, i went in may to Sharon's class and know how good these are, it was what first got me into Cuban style, week after week she planned different things and every week was brilliant, i used to really look forward to them, so i for one am glad we are going to get that chance again, the guys will learn from Richard and if its half as good as Mays classes were then we are all in for one fun packed afternoon.. with many giggles......

It was an early start today, i was going to take the day off from the riding school but changed my mind last minute so prepared with a waterproof off i went...lol

What a day..........its been totally brilliant, i was worn out when i came home and apparently was falling asleep when my fella was talking to me so Ive grabbed an hour power knapp and woke up like Ive had a full nights sleep......lol I feel great !

Ive been out getting soaked all day and really enjoyed working there today, the men all went out into the fields so i was left alone to groom the horses once i had got them in.. that part i totally love, watching their expressions when you get that brush on their itchy bits..lol

You can see they realy enjoy it. I took 3 hours getting through them one by one, I totally lost track of time , so i must have been enjoying myself... I didnt leave though until i had done the last horse... how could i leave one covered in itches.......lol

But i totally loved it today.. the rain just made it better...

Walking the horses through the fields this morning was unbelieveable, the rain was steaming down, but the sun was out shining through it...

Looking across those meadows with the horses running free and that view, gave me such a feeling inside, i had to just stop and stand there staring, moments like that are priceless...

Kevin brought me dinner, the men even made me tea ! now thats what i call a good day...lol

I came home as black as my fella has ever seen me..... hehe

I was covered in mud from head to toe... god! it feels good sometimes to get like that ..

My fella has always laughed and said i clean up well, so hopefully by tonight and with the help of a long hot soak, I will....

Tonight we are out with our friends dancing, we haven't been for a few weeks, so are all meeting up having a couple of drinks and dancing the night away, Cuban style !!.. so i may swap my vodka for mojetos tonight.... I am rearing to go now, rested up and so .... looking forward to this weekend.....

We were taking the kids camping tomorrow night, but the weathers threatening to delay it again, so Ive come up with what i think are good ideas to compensate and intend on having a great time regardless..

Ive found a place that has a beautiful wood where we can camp, he hires kayaks out too ! theres a field full of horses and so much beautiful countryside to surround ourselves in, i am driving down there tomorrow to see if we can arrange something, i haven't seen such a pretty place since the roundhouse, its in north walsham but unseen, unless you know its there..which we thankfully do now.. its simply perfect to camp out, i have this vision of a blazing fire, me cooking on it and my kids faces smiling all playing Ray Meers, in the fires reflection, so I'm going to make it happen.....

My fellas just about completed all hs work now too thankfully, so after another long day tomorrow hes free.................lol

Now theres no excuses for him ... no time like the present I say.......

Work

Good morning everyone ! that suns out again.....lol

Apologies for not posting, Google wouldn't let me in for some strange reason, but it looks like they have sorted out the problem, its like losing my diary, so the last week Ive turned to music...

Ive had quite a week, the usual running around like a headless chicken, Ive had the kids here bored and already just over a week into he school holidays im swearing to myself at the destruction they can cause in 5 Min's flat........lol god was i that bad to my mum, I'm paying for my sins....hehe

My fellas been hard at it, so were doing the ships in the night job, i do occasionally see him when I'm on my way to bed and laugh at him asleep with his shoes on in the morning when i get up and find him cuddling the laptop ! boys toys eh..lol But i cant complain as hes trying to help, so ill make tea and try and be as quiet as i can........

This week we've been out dancing, he went to the classes Tuesday, but i took the night off.. i had things to do here and look liked a pot bellied pig so decided id skip the night, i ended up working most of the night but had my music on and thoroughly enjoyed myself.....

Monday was great, I went riding again with the lord..lol this week he was put on the horse i rode last week, his name is Jack and he doesn't like to move much...lol his face was a picture when they said who he was on, but he got him cantering easily... so i now know i how crap my kicks really are......lol I had Billy this week and my god i struggled... the lesson was outside and he looked like he was ready to go to sleep...... I was out of breathe after about 2 laps..lol Kevins promised to take us out hacking tonight, so I'm looking forward to that...

Wednesday we went to the hog in armour to the dance class.. mmm it didn't go as well this week, my fella struggled and couldn't understand what the instructor was saying, so he didn't look so happy, so instead of staying and doing the next class which i was planning on, we left early and went and got chips ! they were lovely though.....lol

Thursday was my favorite day of the week, we went to Stalham to the Staithe for Sharon and Richards cuban salsa class.... its the one we all look forward to now, you get to do the class and they have a dance afterwards, so its like a night out for everyone... We did more Rueda and some really good combinations, i loved the night, the people there and had to giggle when on the way home the car decided to have a puncture ! lol my fella was out soaked trying to change the tyre with us 3 girls all standing watching hopelessly.. Cheryl and Francesca went and knocked on a door to ask if we could borrow a torch and a guy who they described as an axe murderer answered in his dressing gown...... hehe they were running on without realising the window was open and the guy was probably cracking up at what hed been called, he did lend us a torch and didn't offer an axe of any kind so we were all thankful to get back in that car.........

Friday i worked at the stables all day again, what started off as volunteering for an odd day has now become a regular thing, it was hard going, i actually went home and fel asleep in a heap ! lol but its for a good cause , i love being up there in the fields and just have to work harder now on the days in between..

This weekend ive had a quiet one ! (that makes a change doesn't it lol) we had several invites but both had work to do, so as the money tree at the bottom of my garden isnt blooming as the kids would like i had to work......lol Its been good though as ive downloaded some new tracks onto the much loved headset and have spent the weekend singing away quietly to myself (although the rest of house said i sounded like a dying cat) oops.. Ive been practising belly dancing and the dreaded hip drop at every opportunity and have worked out if i do one particular wiggle my fella will actually step away from the computer.... my song of the week has definitely got to be Work by Kelly Rowland.. its energetic enough to stop me getting bored, and great to dance to..

Im looking forward to this week, i have still got a fair bit of work to get through, so if my fella sits up all night, ill be joining him... If that sun does come out for us, then ill turn nocturnal and burn the candle at both ends for a week............lol

Right its time for that W word again, ive got photos to print, a printer that doesnt work and have to pack up all the weekends sales, ive been a good girl and already done the emails to try and get ahead.. its monday ! and im hoping this week will be a really good one........

Coco Xpress

A group of us went to see Coco Xpress at the Norwich Arts Centre last night.. wow what a great night... this band had everyone up dancing away, its contagious this salsa stuff..lol


Me Cheryl Steve and Francheska helped keep the bar takings up and enjoyed blaming the floor for our bad footwork....

lol we were all past sober and having the time of our lives out on that dance floor...

We met up with loads of people we know from the salsa community, Had a few dances with Ralph, David and some of the guys there, made new friends and thoroughly enjoyed the night..

The music was banging.... I can still hear it this morning..........lol


Its the first time ive seen a salsa live band, but it wont be the last, i honestly couldnt stand still...

I have to thank my fella for sticking to soft drinks and taking care of us all, he didnt look like he minded bless he was up and salsa steppin it all night again......where this guy gets his energy from i dont know (but id like a bottle ) but one song after another he was on that floor til we ran out of music..

Ralph managed to lead 2 of us at a time to merengue, this guy is something else.......... David was giving us all dances and as usual we didnt stop laughing for most of the night.....

A truely brilliant night, i have a sore head and very sore feet....... but im already dancing round the lounge this morning......

You guys are such good fun, thank you for making it such a fantastic night..

Garden Party

Its Sunday!...yesss my day of rest !! lol

Its been another brilliant week, im shattered but really excited..

We went to a party last night as our friends son is emigrating to America, i cant believe how much effort this guy put into it last night, he never stopped...

The food was out of this world and just kept coming, he had done so much no one could honestly eat any more, it wasn't the normal sandwich stuff either! we had food last night that any restaurant would be proud of... Lauren didn't stop eating and must have had at least 8 plate fulls..lol The funniest part of the day was catching her with her head in a chocolate fountain, she couldnt see we were looking and was literaly in the foundtain with a smile as big as the sun..

There were a huge adult bouncy castle (well we had to try that one out) that babysat the kids lovely for us, but the whole afternoon and night was totally brilliant..

Its the 2nd time we've been to his mums house (that's where the party was held) but every time i meet this lady i want to give her a hug, shes so full of life and always smiling, so watching her salsaing round the garden last night with my fella was brilliant.. Id love a mum like her... shes brilliant and so much fun...

Mark went to so much effort to make everyone enjoy their day, it was unbelieveable.... I hope you re not too hungover (but bet you are..lol) we had a brilliant day...

My eldest son couldn't come to the party with us because he was invited to go out and fly a glider for the day !!! omg he was so excited and had such a brilliant day, im so proud of how hes turning out....

Its been a wonderful week and an even better weekend .. thanks to so many wonderful friends... and a very unique tree...............lol

Sharon & Richard Cuban Salsa Lessons

It's a huge thank you to Richard and Sharon for all their hard work last night.. What a great class you guys gave us...

All the girls got to try out reggaeton (which I am totally hooked on at the moment) you can often find me outside body trembling with my headset on.. It's actually pulling in my waistline ! but such great fun !!

Last night the group was all lovely everyone was happy to be there and made the whole night great fun, I actually asked 2 guys to dance too..lol

I danced with the lord (who, by the way has already got it down to a T in just 2 lessons!) and I also asked Richard (sharons wonderful partner and our great teacher) I made a hash of that one totally so apologies for standing on your feet.. I was rather nervous (but wont tell anyone that) lol.

My partner likes to dance with Cheryl as she kind to him and I tell him off (oops) shes so good at it and makes it look easy, i love watching them but keep forgetting to take my camera ! so next time ill try and remember, id love to get these guys on video.. Youtube again for you cheryl.. pleaseeeeee lol

Its much better dancing with others anyway as from a couple point of view you tell each other off too much ! so there I am saying no turns, please don't do that etc..Poor bloke no wonder he doesn't like to dance with me, I wouldn't want to either...Lol it's a nervous thing I think... I can tell him when I'm nervous so will get him to make it easier... It's a cop out I know.. and not as exciting as dancing with someone you just have to follow and have a go...lol

I loved the night, we waited til everyone had gone home and Richard put Orisha on.. I recognised the track from body styling so me Cheryl and Sharon all got up, I tried to show my fella when I did the class and couldn't remember the steps, but as soon as that music came on back it all came.. This salsa really is brilliant fun..

Next week they are getting the guys to have a giggle they are doing Rumba with us, the story is the guy usually holds a handkerchief and is out to fertilize the woman...Lol (yes honestly)

She is offering and tormenting him with wiggles and offers of her skirt (aiming at him and looking open to ideas) but hes got to work for it and catch her out.. so hes dancing around the women and can catch her with either a foot a hand eyes anything basically that hits the spot! The woman (being a woman) isn't going to let him catch easily so she plays and seduces him with her offers of the held up skirt and then covers herself every time, he tries.........hehe

Its great fun, great for parties and guaranteed to have everyone laughing their heads off whos dancing.. We did it at Sharons party and were crying with laughter......

We need more guys in this class ... so please guys drop the idea dancing isn't sexy (ask any women if they would like a partner who dances), and you will learn one thing about women..

It's the guys that dance that get the girls......... so leave your masquline heads at home bring your mates and come along.. Attitudes more than welcome (you can use that to tease) jeans trainers whatever you are comfortable in, just come along to Stalham and help us girls out...

It was another great night, with great people, salsa really is brilliant fun to learn..

Thank you guys, we really enjoyed the night (again) getting fit and happy inside has never been more fun........

What a week

What a week! lol its been brilliant..

Thursday was Sharons and Richards first cuban dance class, we met up with cheryl and had such a great time, so many people turned up they could hardly fit them all in, it couldnt happen to nicer people - im so glad everyone gave them the support they deserved..
We have learnt out first cuban steps went home dancing and all had a brilliant night, thank you guys xxx

Friday we were due to go out to a dinner dance, i was getting pretty tired i must admit but the act was great, he was really strutting his stuff getting the croud up and dancing the night away, the food was excellent, my fella tried out his dancing again and we ended up meeting some old friends we havent seen for ages, so all round its been great..

Last night was the last in a row, so much is happening at the moment im running out of nights to fit it all in..lol we met up with our friends for a quiet one !!! hehe OMG what a night it was...
We went from having a quiet night having a meal to dancing the night away ! so dressing in knitwear wasnt the best idea ..oops i didnt let it spoil the night thankfully, without alcohol they managed to get me to totally embarass myself , it was brilliant, their company is brilliant, hes a total live wire which makes anything we do just such a giggle..
You know youve had a good night when you wake up with an aching face ! i couldnt stop giggling....

All we need now is to get these 2 guys into salsa class, now that really would be one, not to be missed..lol
