Party Time

Its been a really good couple of days since the fire walk, im still on a high and am not taking my arm band off they gave me, its inspiring..lol

We went to the Keir Hardie afterwards, me smelling of bonfires instead of Eternity but we had such a good night and decided to make the most of it, so apologies to you fellas that i danced with, it didn't half make me feel positive i forgot about my nerves and just went for it ...lol

Monday was riding, i had to take Lauren first for her lesson then back for a quick cuppa and off again for mine, what a brilliant night, I got the naughty horse again 'Billy' but he didn't leave the tantrum til he got into the arena, he started as soon as i got on him, biting the poor girl who was adjusting my stirrups.. ears back all night, i had to keep him away from the other horses as he didn't like them either.. what a character ! hes like Paris Hilton and believes hes too good for the rest of us... I bet shes easier to ride than Billy too ! lol

I did keep my positive mind frame which seemed to work well, except its not so easy to canter when your horse stands facing the wall pretending hes not there, so i went for another approach and sung to him... I don't know anything else that makes people move as quick as my voice, within one verse and my lot are out of the house and gone, so i wanted to see if Billy agreed with them, he did ! so for next weeks lesson ill try singing some rock and hope it makes him move a bit faster ! im determined to get canter on him... I love the horse and find him strangely amusing as hes so obstinate... like most guys then ( i just said to myself)...lol

Tuesday night we went off salsaing to see Sharon and Richard in Acle which i thoroughly enjoyed, i thought at some point i may want to slow down with the dancing but it honestly gets worse the more you do the more you want to...

Tomorrow its Stalham and salsa again and my favorite night of the week, its like being on holiday up there you come home eat the fridge and finish the day on a high..Paul shares his dinner with me so i even get fed !

Friday im doing photos for dresses and working that night and then Saturday its the dance Cuban party !! oh my word am i looking forward to this one..

Jose and his band are hitting the Staithe in Stalham so its going to be a night of not only great dancing but brilliant live music, top that off with a few wonderful mojitos (steves driving i got the -its your turn to drink straw!) and you know its gonna be one of those nights thats totally unmissable..

I cant wait...

Mojito Nights

Good morning..........hick ! Ive got a bit of a headache this morning Cheryl..lol

What a great night that was !!

It was the Cuban Salsa night at The Staithe... OMG what a blast..

I started the night wearing a dress..oh yes i did ! I just didn't finish the night wearing it..hehe

Sharon and Richard put on such a good night and wonderful Mojitos !! so after a few extra vodkas as i was wearing the dress me and Cheryl decided to go traditional Cuban and start on them, yum is about all i can say, don't they go down well..

I'm always the same in regards to needing to be comfortable, and although i had so many compliments last night about my dress (thanks guys) i just cant be myself in one, so off that came out came the jeans and my fun head (as Cheryl called it) lol

It was such a great atmosphere everyone was out to party, I got very brave (its the mojitos) so was wandering round asking all the guys to dance to Cheryls amusement, i had such a good night..

My fellas still soundo as i did go home and attack the peanut butter and kept him up til 4 telling him what a lubely night that was......lol

The music was all thanks to DJ shorty (why do they call her that, shes taller than me ! now im worried) she was totally amazing, none of us sat down the music was that contagious.. shes also the most amazing dancer ive seen and just glides ...

It was lovely to see Sharon ad Richard so happy and relaxed enjoying the mojitos too hehe ... everyone was so happy and it was all down to you guys.. so a huge thank you ...

I think the regaetton was the best we've done, by that point we had all drunk so much so were all going for it on that floor...lol yeah so for any of you that sat at home watching X factor you missed some serious booty shaking ...lol

I had my first dance with Max last night, for months ive wanted to dance with him and his 2 brothers they are all such a great bunch of people so when he actually came and asked me?? (was there any money changing hands there) i was rather drunk but so pleased and wasn't disappointed, he really is unbelievable, and i was too tipsy to be nervous so it worked !!

I grabbed Richard for Bachata and managed to stand on him again..oops but i hear that Havana rum is great for sore feet Richard....hehe

I managed a dance in the rain last night too ! it felt amazing , i went outside to cool down and it looked so beautiful off i went, you could hear the music and i think the mojitos had taken their toll .. it was amazing.. the whole night for me was magical.......hence the wet hair..lol

I did start taking photos but as the night unfolded i was enjoying myself too much to bother with the camera.. but what it has left me is a head full of happy thoughts an insatiable Cuban beat and one hell of a hangover this morning..

If that was a taste of Cuba.. then i want a plateful..lol

Morning Kiss

Im up and outside with the birds this morning, my god its a bit chilly out there, im going to have to start getting dressed in the mornings soon..lol

As usual ive been sitting in the garden with my headset, its the only time i get to myself in this house, and my favourite part of the day..

Today is going to be a busy one, its the day i cram in 2 days work so i can go to the stables tomorrow..lol I have to be back for the kids at 4 then take Lauren horseiding at 5 back home at 6 then off to Stalham at 7... its not boring thats for sure...

Im just trying to work out when im supposed to get ready, my fella goes to sleep if he takes Lauren and finds riding boring so i cant ask him on this one..hehe

I had to giggle this morning the kids caught me in full swing dancing outside.. i have a bad habit of that, im trying to sit quietly when my musics on, you know what its like you hear a song and off it goes, it started with my feet and i just couldnt help myself, my lot really should be used to me by now, but apparently mum is weird...lol whats wrong with getting up feeling a spring in your stride, I feel good today..

The kids have a cycling test today so that explains why theres bikes all round my lounge, they obviously didnt want cold seats ! lol

Right im gonna see how quick Santana can make me work today, I cant wait for salsa tonight...

I hope you feel better soon Cheryl, we will all miss you tonight..

Sharon & Richard Dancing cuban salsa

Ive finally managed to get Sharon and Richard on video this week, so anyone who's interested in learning salsa can see how good these guys are...

Ive just had the most wonderful day, Ive been working at the stables all day, Ive done my work (so not skiving) i did that when most of you were still dreaming..lol but at 8 am i was in my element and up the stables....

I learnt so much today, Ive spent the day mucking out, grooming and roaming the fields, my feet and back ache, but my heads very happy and peaceful, all thanks to a few guys that don't speak but can show their appreciation in a way I appreciate......

I know horse ridng can get expensive, so i decided that id swap that for good old fashioned hard work, Kevin's said i did the work of 3 people today, so Ive been asked to go back in a few days to help out again, Price my flirty horse bats his huge eyelids every time i go past him now (he wants Polo's) and today managed to embarrass me when i groomed him, by getting rather excited....lol

To most people its nuts working 7 hours for a chance to ride, but not to me... i don't mind working hard if its for a good cause........

Last night was salsa (again..lol) which was another great night...... Ive finally managed to get Sharon and Richard on video so you can see for yourself how good these guys are, they really are something very special..

Im still struggling with my cuban feet as its tricky learning both styles at the same time, i constantly stand on people and struggle at times recognising the leads, but with Richards and sharons help im hoping ill get there, at least im having fun while im learning it too...


Regaetton was just as good as it always is, the girls all giggle when they do it, you simply cant help it, rompe is infectious....lol and last night Mark and Adrian braved us girls and joined in too, which was great to see ..... good on you fellas !

Its salsa again tonight with Cheryl and Francesca so I'm looking forward to sitting in a nice long bath and trading my riding boots for my salsa shoes and a vodka, its always a good night with these guys, I'm so lucky in having such great people around me....

Some things in life are special, and people make my time here special .......

I'm hitting the weekend smiling inside out you guys...

Salsa Nights

Its another mad week, but what a good one...

Monday was riding, we were out hacking in the country so i came home beaming and talked non stop to my fella who did a good job at smiling in all the right places, i bet he doesn't actually hear a word, i am pretty bad ill admit, i just get excited and like to share it..lol

Kevins jumping this week at the Norfolk show, i really want to go to watch...

Tuesday was salsa night, cross body this time, were actually learning both styles now, god knows how my fellas doing it, but he is, the class all got up this week and did the sexy bomba, so a round of applause was deserved to adrian and all the guys that got up and really had a go... good on you guys....

Don't ask me about Wednesday, my dad was really ill (its his heart) so the day was spent in and out of the surgery having various tests done, by the time i got to work got done, that was it, the day was over, i went home fell asleep and slept 15 hours straight through (which is a first for me) all this exercise is great but ive decided wednesdays im leaving free to sleep..i don't seem to get any of that during the week anymore....lol

Last night was Cuban salsa with Sharon and Richard ! its been my favourite day of the week ,so far, what a class! it was brilliant fun, i honestly cant believe how well my fellas doing, hes definitely on a mission, and finally been cubanized, he came home saying how much he loves Cuban style last night !! hehe
I was hoping the bug would bite, it got me after one class, but so many of the class came back, its really good..these guys deserve our support they are such nice people and wonderful teachers.. Sharons always smiling and glows inside out..

We had another go at reggaeton, the girls were all 'body trembling' away, its such fun to do and everyone was smiling away, what better way to get fit than dancing......

I got to dance bachata last night with the lord ... hes getting really good at salsa now (even putting in the wiggles), so Ive put him a video in above to see if i can scare him a little.....(next weeks aim?) hehe

My fella had dances with Sharon and Cheryl and i must say, i couldn't believe the difference in just a week, he was beaming when he came off that floor, and well deserved too, they did brilliantly..

I didn't do so well with poor Richard, i messed up big time, (sorry Richard) im fine when i don't think, but with a brain like i have, I'm lethal when i try to use it..lol so i'll stick to vodka and not think in future !! ol

When everyone went home it just left 8 of us, so we all lined up, men one side, women the other and had such a blast, we had to strut our stuff and torment the guys, with them shaking trouser legs at us, returning the favour... it was brilliant..


Ive got a little message for Adrian this morning ............. Yes......you've cracked it !! the line up helped him find what he was looking for.. because by the end of the night he was dancing pure salsa...... well done you...

It was a brilliant night, I'm buzzing this morning (and couldn't sleep as i had rompe in my head all night again...lol

Tonight Ive got to wear a dress !! we are out with our friends for a meal ( i do really like chips and little wooden sticks !) so Ive got to get done early today and try and work out which fork to use ! I'm like a duck out of water anywhere posh, so it should be a real giggle tonight..... im looking forward to it...lol

Its been a great week, there's a lot to fit in everyday now, but boy am i feeling good inside.

Its all thanks to a great group of people I called my friends........

Sharon & Richard Cuban Salsa Lessons

It's a huge thank you to Richard and Sharon for all their hard work last night.. What a great class you guys gave us...

All the girls got to try out reggaeton (which I am totally hooked on at the moment) you can often find me outside body trembling with my headset on.. It's actually pulling in my waistline ! but such great fun !!

Last night the group was all lovely everyone was happy to be there and made the whole night great fun, I actually asked 2 guys to dance too..lol

I danced with the lord (who, by the way has already got it down to a T in just 2 lessons!) and I also asked Richard (sharons wonderful partner and our great teacher) I made a hash of that one totally so apologies for standing on your feet.. I was rather nervous (but wont tell anyone that) lol.

My partner likes to dance with Cheryl as she kind to him and I tell him off (oops) shes so good at it and makes it look easy, i love watching them but keep forgetting to take my camera ! so next time ill try and remember, id love to get these guys on video.. Youtube again for you cheryl.. pleaseeeeee lol

Its much better dancing with others anyway as from a couple point of view you tell each other off too much ! so there I am saying no turns, please don't do that etc..Poor bloke no wonder he doesn't like to dance with me, I wouldn't want to either...Lol it's a nervous thing I think... I can tell him when I'm nervous so will get him to make it easier... It's a cop out I know.. and not as exciting as dancing with someone you just have to follow and have a go...lol

I loved the night, we waited til everyone had gone home and Richard put Orisha on.. I recognised the track from body styling so me Cheryl and Sharon all got up, I tried to show my fella when I did the class and couldn't remember the steps, but as soon as that music came on back it all came.. This salsa really is brilliant fun..

Next week they are getting the guys to have a giggle they are doing Rumba with us, the story is the guy usually holds a handkerchief and is out to fertilize the woman...Lol (yes honestly)

She is offering and tormenting him with wiggles and offers of her skirt (aiming at him and looking open to ideas) but hes got to work for it and catch her out.. so hes dancing around the women and can catch her with either a foot a hand eyes anything basically that hits the spot! The woman (being a woman) isn't going to let him catch easily so she plays and seduces him with her offers of the held up skirt and then covers herself every time, he tries.........hehe

Its great fun, great for parties and guaranteed to have everyone laughing their heads off whos dancing.. We did it at Sharons party and were crying with laughter......

We need more guys in this class ... so please guys drop the idea dancing isn't sexy (ask any women if they would like a partner who dances), and you will learn one thing about women..

It's the guys that dance that get the girls......... so leave your masquline heads at home bring your mates and come along.. Attitudes more than welcome (you can use that to tease) jeans trainers whatever you are comfortable in, just come along to Stalham and help us girls out...

It was another great night, with great people, salsa really is brilliant fun to learn..

Thank you guys, we really enjoyed the night (again) getting fit and happy inside has never been more fun........

Life begins

lol.................. Oh my god ive reached the milestone.... im 40 at last ! lol

Its been a manic week, but ive really enjoyed it..

The week started as nuts as usual, i somehow managed to slot in all the stuff i had planned last week but by the end of last week i was pretty tired, things happened that i didnt expect, so it made me feel a bit down in myself, Friday for me was a hard one, im back to working by myself again, both running the home and office so im trying to kick my bum into gear and slowly get myself back into the swing of things. its so easy to turn lazy, i had forgotten how much i really had to do before, so after my reality check ive knuckled down am firing on all cylinders and really pushing myself..

I seem to constantly ache from riding, salsa and belly dancing lol its a joke here now, i dont seem to get any days off in between, but the soreness is changing into toned muscles (clean minds needed here) please..........lol

This week was my birthday (as if you hadnt of guessed) lol i had people try and arrange all sorts of things for me, and some wonderful offers, but i just wanted a quiet day (in my life its a rarety) I worked most of the day on my own, but got loads done, my friend came up in the afternoon with a card so it made for a really peaceful day (my fella was out all day so i could sing my head off) i did have a wish to ride a horse up a beach... its still on my list, but what i did do more than made me happy....... and it was pretty near to it.. I went out the night before and rode a big black horse half the night through the fields, no alcohol, no fuss, just me, a warm night, and plenty of birds singing while i rode along on a big beautiful horse, who didnt seem to mind me talking away and singing to him, it was a beautiful warm night and although simple to most people, mother nature and her gift really did make my birthday one to remember ..

Belly Dancing Salsa Night

Its salsa night............. i cant wait, ive been roped into the belly dancing class too earlier so the classes tonight start for me at 7 til 10.. that should work those muscles ..lol

Ive never done belly dancing but it sounded fun so i thought i may as well join in with that one too and have a night of wiggling..

I couldnt hardly move yesterday thanks to mother nature, but worked through it and did some excercise i was amazed at the difference , so if like me yesterday you women get bad period pains dont chuck pills down your neck get out and excercise, it really helps....

Im still debating whether to take a day off today and work from home, i wished i had of done that yesterday and got out the kickbag.........

My fellas just taken down my pole.. ( but its only temperary) its being moved somewhere where i can use it more without getting in the way... :) my lounge feels empty without it........

The sugar thing is working, the kids put 2 sugars in a cuppa last night by mistake and i couldnt drink it, it tasted like syrup.. so im doing well......

The thing i had to giggle at was my partner did his fitness test and did very well, and when they tested his lungs he scored the higest mark ? how did he manage that one ....he smokes lol

At least he want keep going on about stopping smoking for a few weeks now, i cant diet excercise and give up all my vices... its no fun then...........lol

Im taking my camera tonight so if the teacher lets me ill post a few giggles tomorrow....

Undiscovered

We went out for the evening and had a really good night...

It started out a bit of a mix up as id gone in my flip flops and usually shower, swim and get changed for the evening there, but the pool was closed...oops

So instead we went out into the garden, where i could hide up in in a bush somewhere discreet...

We saw our friends at the start of the night which was wonderful, as due to my fellas job we don't get to see them as often as wed like (but im working on that one!) ...

So we had a meal when they left and a good talk about the future, so im a lot happier this morning things will ease up a bit, i work hard and don't mind being superwoman for a month or so but it does catch up with you as you lose time for yourself..... and yourself is important..

Some friends we used to see up there came in a little later, so after a few more drinks, i did go off and get changed as we decided to gatecrash the wedding there... what a blast, ive never done that before......lol

I sat in the garden listening to the singer (she was brilliant) and when one of my favourites came on, that was it, i wanted to join the party... but thought i may stand out a bit in flip flops and a riding t- shirt so i did make an effort to blend in a bit more.. although im not used to putting make up on at the end of a night ! lol

we knew a few in there, so no one asked any questions, so it ended up a really good night, badly overdue at that.... dancing away and enjoying the free buffet...

When we got home we had a houseful, my niece and her fella had turned up to see her brother that was sitting for the kids so again out on the garden we went til the small hours of the night..

So i do seem to have drunk rather a lot of alcohol this weekend....oops

The good part is i was given a talking too....hehe

but he is also dead right, with what he said, so its kick started me back to where i should be

he says I've lost my inner glow because its getting buried with work and the bad stuff and because i am a strong character i should fill it up with the good stuff, and be myself and he is right...

I found a part of me last night, at someone Else's wedding, that i shouldn't have been to...Tut Tut (god the bride looked grumpy though) very pretty, but nevertheless grumpy, she was talking to me in the toilets (i told her i was a friend of her husbands)...lol but she didn't seem best pleased he was out in a bush with the bridesmaid (they were just having a ciggy) i did just take a small peek....lol

the mad woman who runs a Mexican bar has invited us next week to a party, and ive said yes, so my fellas gonna go down to working 4 days a week (not 6) until hes properly trained up, so i can have a bit of a life after work and also get a day off to go do all that girly stuff i never seem to have time for anymore....

So i went out for a quiet night ended up finding my personality i haven't seen for a while, and having a brilliant night...

I'm not lost ...... never was (as James says)

just undiscovered.............. lol
