Boogie Nights

What a week its been, Ive wanted to write for the last few days, but haven't got round to being able to, its been work non stop all day, with all sorts happening every night, so the week seems to have flown by ....

We met up with Mark and Anna Friday for our night out..lol my god it was a giggle.. i did have a few drinks (that makes a change, i hear you say lol) and i danced til my feet ached, the night was totally brilliant and so much fun, an excuse to party and let your hair down is always good for the spirit.... especially if it keeps you feeling good inside lol .. don't quote me on that the next morning though please... god did i have a hangover..oops (that's the guys fault as i haven't touched alcohol in months and they were feeding me red wine and double vodkas.. tut tut.....hickup.........

We ended up at a Boogie night where everyone was as mad as us, it was about time my slashed top came out again... the last time i wore it i went pole dancing in Tenerife so its given me many happy memories and the reason to keep wearing it...lol I like feeling sexy and that only stays with you if you keep that sparkle alive in your eyes... (mine were definately glazed) lol

We're already looking forward to our next nights out with our new friends, so if they are anywhere as good as Friday was, then ill book the sitter to stay over...lol .. we didnt get home until very early (or late should i say!) and she had fell asleep sitting up my breakfast bar.. oops i tried not to laugh and it did cost me quite a bit extra (as i did mention i wouldn't be late )..oops its a good job she loves me... she knows i get emotional when ive had a few and laughs when i throw my arms round her telling her how much i love her, anyone who would put up with me worse for wear at that hour has got to love me....

So its a big thank you to our friends and a brilliant boogie night... they made me laugh so much all night my face hurt ... not to mention my feet.....lol

Saturday (after i got rid of my hangover) we had to start again, we had arranged to meet Cheryl and some friends for salsa so after a few " I cant do two nights on the trot" my fella persuaded me to get ready so we could hit the city and our salsa club... all our friends were there so we knew it would be another good night, i was so tired but as soon as i heard the music it kicked up my spirits again and up we got, bopping about again..lol

Cheryl will get up and dance with the professionals, shes so confident, i hide up !! lol I know its chicken but these guys really are something else.... So when one of the regulars comes and asks me to dance i wanted to shrink and curl up into a big hole, he is so very good... i tried not to look petrified and just had a go, i cut a couple of the turns short i think, but he was lovely and just laughed, its like stepping back in time there, the guys all ask you to dance in turn and its not polite to decline, its not like a night club where men all see you as a piece of meat... and the only reason they would ask you to dance was to hang all over you and hope their luck was in...lol

These guys at our club are real gentlemen, i danced with a guy who was in his fifties who literally swept me off my feet, Ive never danced with anyone so good and pray a few of the guys there now will also ask me, they watch to see what moves we can do and then work their leads accordingly, one by one they will gently add in another move until we then know a bit more, the better we get, the better dances the leads have, so everyone helps out and helps everyone else.............. wouldn't it be nice if the world was a bit more like that............lol

Todays riding lesson (kick to canter)

This is the horse i cant kick hard enough to put into canter, hes my challenge today to get it right, i dont care if its just a metre, ive got to do this today. Stellis had me doing excercises all week to rise and trot and kick on down, its not as easy as it looks, usually my legs are kicking when im up so i look like a mad woman having a fit..lol

Dollys bouncy this horse is rock solid but doesnt canter very easily at all, Karen (my teacher) brought her hat to ride him this week and couldnt believe how hard he was, she was puffing away and said he killed her legs..lol i am kicking like hell but he cant feel it... come on i used to kickbox for heavens sake, its official i can nearly get my black belt kickboxing but this horse is beating me...

I want to do the lung rope lessons bareback ! so i have everything to work hard for today ... im gonna do this today...lol

riding lesson no stirups

This is a lesson with Dolly, shes bouncy and brilliant to ride with no stirups, every week im doing excercises on her now to strengthen my ankles and back, this will be the horse im allocated in the group once ive learnt all the little bits, its so weird one place has me jumping on saturdays and the other is all legwork, excercises on the horse and technique, im enjoying the lessons at both schools and slowly getting better.. I cant wait to see how shadow reacts to me when i get on him saturday.. ive learnt a lot this week...

My goal is to get dolly into canter easily, the two horses im working with at the moment are both big and plodders, so its pushing my legs and strengthening them, my bum kills me after each class but according to my fella its rock hard now...hehe

I went from this horse to the black one above, i have not been able to canter him at all, so i was determined to do it this week...... time for that confident g string i think...lol

Friday

Its Friday.........yessssss lol

Im as sore as hell this morning, but dont care as i know after this weekend ill be even worse, its a weekend of non stop dancing ahead so im happy..

Yesterday went great, my son came home smiling from ear to ear and my fella was shattered, i dont think hes walked that far ever so it did them both good..

Its photos this morning i have a few dresses to get done and then im on jeans for the day,so i hope that sun keeps shining for us..

Tonigh im really looking forward to, so im leaving work just after lunch and getting this place in order before i go, i havent got to get up early for riding so im having a few drinks and letting my hair down for the night..lol

Im meeting Cheryl tomorrow for a salsa night so this weekend is one im definately looking forward to... bring it on

My mum phoned last night shes been having tests for breast cancer after finding lumps in her neck, its been worrying me for weeks, but thankfully the tests are clear.....im so relieved... shes lost a lot of weight but my sister is with her at the moment and says she looks well, its bad enough worrying about your kids but the thought of my mum being thousands of miles away and ill wasnt a good one, so im breathing a sigh of relief this morning and so thankful shes ok..

Teenager

Its a milestone today, my eldest Ryan has finally reached his teenage years..lol

Im so proud how hes turning out, hes such a gem, not spoilt or stroppy, always helpful, he really is such a joy to be with and is turning out to be such a character.... hes kind to everyone but not a walkover like me ! ambitious like his dad, hes already working side by side with him on websites as a part time job, hes not the type to settle for a paper round by the looks of it..lol

This morning he gets up having had a wish come true ! (his schools on strike so day off) but his triplet siblings had to go to school as theirs was open...lol so today Ive come to work on my own and sent father and son out for a day of pampering and fun ! they are off up the city to meet Dayle for a shopping trip and then off for a swim, sauna and meal.... bless

Hes so happy to have got the day off school, my kids all have 100% attendance record so they don't take days off , unlike some kids, so i must have installed something right....

Hes made me one happy mum today, he didn't get much but you'd think he got a truckload judging by how happy he was, so i hope they have a great day today.... Happy Birthday Ryan xxx

Last night was riding again, i was late home so had to ride in my holey bum jeans (ouch) it was another no stirrup lesson too !! lol I still cannot kick hard enough when in rise and trot i look hilarious according to Stell, but im not giving up ! apparently its supposed to be like driving all of a sudden it will come together..hehe any other horse i can get into canter easily ..except this one.. she is huge so doesn't feel my kicks, as when i went on a smaller horse and kicked it shot off into canter at full pace.. lol so i can either ride smaller horses (nope) or i learn to strengthen my ankles and get this right... My legs and bum hurt like hell today (again) i looked like Orville the duck yesterday and this morning Stelli is having a right giggle with me.... I promise ill post the video this week (its the funniest one yet) but stell has to shorten it first as it was too good to miss apparently but its too big to email as it is... so ill embarrass myself as soon as its done and post it !...

I bought Lauren a new set of jodhpurs this week as shes growing up and got a real bargain they are bright purple and lovely thick cord, so yesterday when they arrived she couldn't wait to try them on... age 9-10 i was convinced they would be perfect...... but they were too big , so my fella told me to try them on as a bet... ive now got new purple jodhpurs (which is nice )but embarrassing as im about to hit 40 but now wearing aged 9-10 kiddies clothes to ride in... they only cost 2.49 with the postage, so as they were such a bargain, ill cut the tag out and swallow my adult pride...lol ... I may not grow any bigger, but hopefully ill get wiser... my 40th is nearly here , so if life really begins at 40............Bring it on...............lol

Its our 80s night Friday and we've been roped into dancing Saturday night at Keir Hardie, so the weekends going to be a busy one ... so its a night in tonight with the kids and something special to be cooked for my birthday boy.... lol

Flying

Its Saturday and as usual, I'm full of it... this morning has been such a rush. We went to riding lessons and found the school full of jumps again, part of me gets nervous when i see them the other part cant wait to get on that horse..lol

So much happened today i cant explain everything as it would bore you all, but i jumped at speeds i haven't reached before and was really proud of myself, we are now on triple jumps so its a bit nerve wracking but such a brilliant feeling when you clear the run.. I had Sandra shouting from the office to slow down, my horse wasn't in the mood for slow so all i could do was stay in control, steer and stay in that saddle...lol I did thankfully and was so pleased with myself, the extra lessons are now paying off, my caterings now more controlled and its slowly all coming together...

Sorrel was his usual self with Kirsty, he wont behave and she cant control him, I'm only new to this but shes scared stiff of him and he knows so today he wont jump hes steering round them and doing what he wants, Kirsty was screaming which isn't good so thankfully Nikita's decided to take her off him... hes too quick and powerful to take risks, one of the stable girls had to run to get out of the way bless.. Kirsty seems happier that shes going back to her old horse and the openings now there for me if i want to go back on Sorrel.........mmmmmmm

If anyone would have asked me this before this morning i would have jumped at the chance, i love the horse and ride him well but after today I'm torn.... Shadow jumps beautifully is much quicker in regards to how she takes the jumps and is a harder ride, Sorrel is as quick in canter etc but is easier to control on leading up to jumps, he will trot round nicely as my horse at the moment doesn't do trot if there's jumps in the paddock only canter...lol

Ive left it to the girls I'm not making any decisions, they can put me on which horse they feel .. its better that way.....

Last night was my night off, i worked til gone midnight Thursday loading in the start of the new tops so yesterday the week was catching up with me, I'm sore from riding and dancing and seem to have aching in places i didn't know i had muscles..lol The good news is im now back to my ideal weight and toning up everywhere, my fella loves whats happening and the fact that i seem to be coming back to life with a vengeance..lol

We spent the late afternoon swimming and relaxing , had a meal then went onto the salsa club, i have met a new friend Cheryl we dance together Tuesdays , i cant help but admire her, she turned up at the club on her own (something i couldn't do) so I'm glad we went, the best way to learn salsa after learning the basics is to go to a club and do it, but the guys there are something else and i get really nervous, they pushed me last night to dance with a couple of the guys , although i must be like a learner driver to them they do really help us, Cheryl was getting up and dancing with all the best, one guy is a professional ... i saw him looking at us while walking across so i hid up..lol i know its chicken but hes something else and loves to spin his partners, and as i had a bit of an unfortunate accident just after work yesterday which left me dizzy, i didn't really feel like falling on my arse in front of hundreds of people, although i don't mind so much if Ive had a couple of vodkas..lol

I went to St ells straight from work to pick up a lot of Egyptian jars and large pots Simon has given me, but they were heavy, so i kicked the car door to keep it open and it flung back.. it smacked me in the temple nearly knocking me out and left a huge split in the top of my ear..lol my fella was going into one as the blood was everywhere and running down my face but i was more upset that id cried, what a baby! it left me with a lovely headache all night and lumps on my temple...lol but at least i had something to use for an excuse last night not to have to partner the professional ..hehe

Next weekend i have my sons birthday 13.. hes now a teenager but not stroppy yet !

We are also going to Gorleston Friday to an 80s night with our friends Mark and Urszula .....its guaranteed to be a good night with plenty of giggles and aching feet so I'm looking forward to it and taking my camera...lol

Right its time to clean the house up again, get a meal prepared as Dayle's up tonight, I'm hoping hes bringing his ghds again and i can be a guinea pig for a night, were making toffee apples and fudge, just because we want to and enjoying a good movie..... with homemade popcorn I'm sure it it will be a quiet night, so I'm looking forward to having a long bath cooking something nice and chilling out...........I love Saturdays....

Wednesday

It was a bit of a struggle to wake up this morning, yesterday was a full day of doing photos trying to look warm, they went well but i ended up overshooting the time and was late home for the kids, as i pulled up they were all standing there waiting..oops

I have to edit the photos to load in now and carry on getting the rest captured so the next few days i will be back to working stupid hours and chain myself to my computers..lol

last night was salsa... it was a real tester.. we ended up having to move to the mirage suite as our usual room had lighting problems, that part was OK it was just trying to do the turns all night on carpet, we were all giving each other electric shocks..lol the lesson was great though and we learnt another few moves to add to the collection... its getting really good now, those first few weeks were just the basic steps now we are adding so many twists turns and cuddles in, I'm so glad we started the class, every ones lovely and we've made friends with some really nice people.. theres so many salsa clubs out there and weekenders, so hopefully if we keep trying we will get good enough to go along... Sharon who teaches at the forum was at the weekend one in Blackpool and won the competition she was in (she is brilliant) we are going along to Keir hardy this week on Friday as a few of us from the class are meeting up so hopefully we will feel that we can at least dance together and get some extra practise in......lol

Ive made another riding lesson video in so you can all have another giggle..lol I'm on another horse now who's really putting me through my pace, she wont go into canter easily so she is going to hopefully help strengthen my legs and my kick, as I'm still struggling with kick whilst in trot to get into a canter, Shadow does this easily for me but its not what i want, if i learn to ride then I'm going to learn properly how to ride anything, so no pain no gain, with a very sore bum and legs I'm being allocated Dolly... Shes much bigger than shadow at just over 16 hands and has a much wider girth, but i love riding her, although I'm usually scared of heights its different on a horse and i prefer the big horses best rather than the ponies, i was thrown straight on a big one and worry I'm hurting the smaller ones with learning to ride as we make so many mistakes....
Estelle bless is coming with me every week now and helps me so much, although I'm jumping at one school I'm not at the other, both schools are teaching me different things, its adrenaline on Saturdays with multi jumping but i still lack so much of the need to know stuff so the Wednesday school is all technique posture, rising correctly to help the horse balance and control work, so between them hopefully ill learn to do this right..The videos will all be posted so hopefully after watching me making an arse of myself you lot should all have a giggle... it was all leg work today so tomorrow I'll be walking like John Wayne again......lol

Anyway i have guests up tonight so need to grab a long hot bath .... have a great week everyone....

Carry on Riding lol

The weeks started as mad as ever, the kids are back to school and much happier as they can now play with their mates... school holidays are ok for a time but they get so bored....

Saturday was lovely the riding went ok, Stell videoed it again on her phone (its hilarious) it was really windy so i couldn't hear much of the commands given Sarah says A to C and change the reins and i do complete opposite..lol but i love being there so much... i have downloaded the first video below so you can all have a good laugh... and watch us learn to ride if you are interested... but i will put them all in as soon as i get a spare minute...

I'm on the white horse as lead, Lauren on the black pony behind and Sorrel is the arab chestnut you just get a glimpse of......................:( god i miss riding him so much...

Saturday was a good giggle, after riding me and stelli took the kids to my nieces birthday party.. i volunteered to help out with the face painting (stelli is a professional body/face painter) so as it was helping my sister we went along and helped keep them happy, I ended up pretending to supervise the bouncy castle just so i had an excuse to have a few goes....lol The best part for me was being with my younger sisters kids, Alicia is 4 and severely autistic, she doesnt talk and lives in a little world of her own, she doesn't like anyone being close so cuddles are out of the question but she sat down to have her face painted without saying a word, everyone at the party just sat there speechless, she is like a little doll so beautiful and i got to spend the whole afternoon just playing with her , Simon (stellis partner) was taking photos and took some beautiful ones for us, so i can now send some to my mum, its hard sometimes having a family all over the place, we are all so busy with our own families i know, but sometimes it really gets to me...

The evening was also lovely we had a night in with my fella cooking the most amazing meal again and just enjoyed the night talking having fun...
Sunday was catching up with the housework and the dreaded ironing ! all the samples also needing to be ready for the photos, so i ended up having to iron 43 tops on top of my usual families clothes....yawn

The stuff is gorgeous, i have one top in particular i am besotted with, not since i designed my slashed tops have i ever been this excited about a top.... I'm keeping one of each colour in no uncertain terms... and have put them first on the list to photo..
We have to do all the packing now as its just me and stell working and as we had a lot of orders this morning, i couldn't get on to doing the photos but tomorrow stell will take over for me and ill be able to kick up a gear....yes..........

Paris in Spring

We just got back last night from Paris... wow it really was a great trip...

The roads still scare the hell out of me but my fella did me proud and managed to avoid a high speed crash on the way home, they drive so fast there and i honestly dont know how he avoided it....

We had to stay a little longer than expected, so i had time to really look well, i brought back some stunning things for spring which will put some new life and colour into my shop.. I really do love this time of year..theres lots of yellows, pinks, purples, intigos, coming with naturals and white still going strong ... for those of you that love easy wear lose fitting clothes this is going to be a great season, its lose and carefree with floaty, long, free flowing tops and so much colour, for an evening look its feminine, lose drapes, with beautiful neck detailing... low cut cleavages are OUT instead are cuts that show very little but tease very much, its the time we get to dress as women and captivate imaginations without having to feel uncomfortable.... tight jeans are featured heavily but lightweight cotton ones in the most vibrant shades, so team these with long free flowing tops and a good belt....... for any of you women that have hang ups about hips and bellies.. fear not these styles are every girls dream ..lol

This year its clothes that are gorgeous to wear totally comfortable and scream feminine and fun at you, high cut necks with beads pendants and grecian stones..... for anoyone that doesnt do colourful, naturals white and silver grey are the ones for you to go for... easy to wear long, lose tops that feel as good as they look...

We had a brilliant time together and even managed some romantic nights out, i was wined and dined and loved every moment of it...roll on my next trip.... ive got a feeling ill be going back very soon as im not expecting this lot to last long... its totally beautiful........

I have a busy one today, its riding this morning at 10.30 at my usual school, but today i am taking stelli with me, shes a born rider and used to have her own school so is thankfully coming with me to both places now , she helps me and gives me hints and tips..lol

I had to giggle wednesday i slotted in a lesson at the new stable just before leaving for Paris ! i wont do that again in a hurry...... it was a lesson with no stirups ! my god didnt my bum and legs ache, to go from that to sitting in the car for 9 hours....OMG Ive had more exercise this week that ever... today i havent got a clue what im doing thankfully, sometimes its better not to know..I love spontanious every time.......lol

Anyway what i didnt know was stelli videoed my lesson with no stirups (she was certain i would fall off the horse) and decided that it had to be captured on camera ! I didnt fall thankfully so am proving them wrong.. everyones waiting for it i know, so ill make sure i keep my confidence up and concentrate on staying on that saddle....lol

I am loading the videos up into my blog shortly as stelli is going to tape the class weekly now and im gonna give everyone a giggle by posting them week by week...

Anyway after riding im off to a party this afternoon but back tonight for a well earnt night in, with all the kids.... Im grabbing a couple of videos, far too much popcorn and enjoying a night with my family.........

White stuff

Its nearly time for the kids to go back to school, ive enjoyed being here over the holidays but am ready to go back to work now..lol

The gardens are ready to plant up, whats in there is now getting snowed on this morning..lol ive been sitting outside as usual with my cuppa enjoying watching it like a mad women in my fellas oversized coat, but this is the type of sunday morning i love..its something a bit diferent

Everyones still asleep here after another late night so its wonderfully peaceful, with just me and my radio for company, Dayles up later so today should be a good day..

I had to giggle last night as my fella was showing me his new moves he had learnt yesterday (he does an extra class on his own sat) my god he is getting really good now, much to everyones amusement i was being swung round the lounge with style, everything seems to be slotting into place and he is really getting this down to a T...

We are hitting Paris Thursday so its going to be a busy week, i need a couple of days now without sandpaper or white spirit to let my hands heal as next week will be back to photos orders and juggling the hours again...lol

Riding went so well saturday, we had a fun lesson doing races and giggle stuff, Lauren beat me twice on Ebony we were trying to balance an egg while racing ...hehe

But then it was down to me on shadow and the other girl on Sorrell in a straight speed race.... i dont normally like competitions but i do hold a very soft spot for Sorrel who was my allocated horse before the other girl got him and i got moved onto shadow... so theres no way i was going down lightly and letting her win.... its a matter of principle.. mine..lol

Anyway speaking of competitions (dreaded word) ive enterered one ! i pulled out of something i loved years ago because of my dislike of that word, so yesterday when they were talking about next months jumping one, i opened my mouth before i had time to change my mind and said yes..... so im in !..........

Anyway its time for another cuppa and sit outside in all that lovely white stuff ! spring is certainly bringing a few suprises.......lol

April Showers

Well its the type of shower i really fancy....lol


Its been a great couple of weeks, I'm still decorating what started just as a kitchen ended up going through different rooms, but once i had started one room i wanted to carry on..lol

Sunshine always makes me feel good so when its shining i want to be doing something happy..

I cant believe its April already the year is flying by, so much has changed here my life is certainly very different to last year, i love the transformation and enjoying each day as much as possible.. we are working hard both in the office and at home, but the difference is we are also enjoying a social life outside of the work and the home...

My fella said that i don't like change, but some changes were definitely for the best and the ones we have undergone are all positive ones... works good, were off to Paris next week for a couple of days and nearly at the end of a dreaded school holiday ! i got the short stick and have been working from here for the last 2 weeks with the kids, but it has allowed me the time to get my home back in order paint everything and reorganise my garden so its all looking much brighter here for it...

I'm back on track trying to look after myself better, enjoying the new friendships we have found, and planning some really fun stuff... spring and summers light and warm evenings open up so much, winters always the time i take stock of what i want in life, whats important and plan the good stuff.... i have a rapidly growing list ! lol

We will be having our holiday very shortly, I'm really excited about spending some time out from being mum and feeling carefree.. after we get back its camping in those woods with the kids and hopefully passing on my love for the outdoors, Ive got my little bits to make dens and keep the young people entertained with Ryan on guitar and me singing round a bonfire it should certainly be memorable if nothing else...lol

Today I'm attacking the front garden, the back is now ready for my fella and his tools tomorrow to add that finishing touch to the new decking, Ive planted apple, cherry and nectarine trees with jasmine, violets and grapevines just about everywhere else, so this year i will have a garden i can really enjoy, my fella is bringing home a new patio suite tomorrow, i have lovingly restored it and claimed the spring look like chair as mine (its beautiful and very comfy)... I'm definitely making the most of whatever sunshine we get and getting outside as much as possible...

Riding is getting very interesting, Ive found a local school just up the road from me within walking distance (i didn't know it was even there!) so Wednesdays now at 3pm i ride there too, its good as they are teaching me completely different things to what my normal school does so between the two places I'm learning fast...

Last week they put me on what i class as a pony though!! i was horrified as it looked tiny, but as i don't weigh a lot they wanted me to feel the difference in the sizes and speed, so it made for a very amusing lesson with Stelli cracking up, she comes along with me now and helps me no end, she likes the little horses and i like the big ones so it gives us both a giggle..

Yesterday thankfully i was put on a lovely big black horse again that i really didn't want to get off, that's the trouble with riding for me... I don't want the time to go, i cant explain how good it feels only that it is a.... I'm so lucky to be alive feeling.......

I haven't been blogging much i know, apologies to you all, but my days have been full and there always seems so much happening this end at the moment, my 'want to do something aches' have turned into aching because of what i did yesterday..lol so at least i hurt because I'm trying to make every day count and experience as much as possible ........ so its the good kind....lol

The suns shining ......so I cant help but feel, ive got to be out there with it and simply enjoy it......lol

Dirty Blonde

Its been a great week, the days seem to be flying by...

we've been dancing as normal and doing quite a lot recently, my spare time seems to be filling itself up but thankfully its all good stuff..

Yesterday was my day to visit Dayle at his hairdressers...

We still couldn't decide what to do with my hair so i left it to the guys there, Stell brought me round a brunette wig to try thankfully and it was shocking, so we decided to change my colour slowly and just add in colour every couple of weeks..

I spent 3 hours yesterday in Dayle's capable hands (and a very posh reclining chair that massages you as you get styled!) lol im not used to such posh shops but loved every minute of it..

You would be wise to visualise an oven ready turkey at this point, he so was patient, my hairs very fine but there's lots of it so he had a really tough time of delicately adding in bits of colour, we went for caramel and brown to start with..

3 hours later i came out with spirals and a huge smile on my face, so im now officially a DIRTY Blonde..lol

Dayle came back to ours for a well earned meal and i got stopped by half the neighbours all wanting to know where i got my hair done, im so pleased my fella totally loves it and although im still blonde its a much more natural shade and doesn't look like my usual tacky yukky colour..

The best bit.......I got charged 12 quid.............lol

as i was a relative i only had to pay for the colours, i got to meet probably the most tallented bunch of hairdressers in one place you can imagine who all made me feel totally welcome and happy, one of the lads there (hes only 22 bless )also said he thinks id be an animal in bed ! hehehe (i didn't make any noises and was actually on my best behaviour all afternoon too) Dayle didn't want to tell me that part but after a couple of glasses of wine couldn't help himself so we had a good giggle and booked my next appointment in... ill make sure i growl at him next time just to watch his face !lol

I loved the day no work just total pampering, i couldn't be happier with what hes done and cant wait til my next visit now............

Its Saturday... the weekends arrived in style and after a week sorting out the house and garden we decided it was time to have some fun..

We went riding again this morning to me pulling into kimblewicks car park with an awful noise coming from my car, so i called the AA and hoped i could slot the lesson in before they got there.. im so glad i didnt have to miss it, what a lesson, its just getting better and better, we were doing 5 jumps in a row this morning as i was in my element, Lauren did brilliantly .. the timing was perfect as we just turned in the AA had pulled in so i got to make the lesson the wheel was fixed (stones in the brake disc) and it didnt mess up the morning thankfully...

We went out last night to Madonna tribute night, talk about a wild night..lol

When we walked in the place looked beautiful all lit up with glowing bowls of floating candles, it really was something else to see..i got a free pink cowboy hat too! which has happily joined my collection for holiday...

I was the dedicated driver so wasnt drinking, but after watching our friend hit the stage on his own i really did want a drink and to join in.......he is hillarious and doesnt care what anyone thinks it shocks the life out of some people, which is highly amusing to watch.. he certainly made the Madonna act giggle, we were told by his girlfriend not to let him have my cowboy hat as he has a habit of stripping .... i bet thats amusing to watch ..lol

He was born in Norwich but has lived in Cyrus all his life until this year, so hes not stuck to our british over civilised attitude and stiff upper boring lip...his partner was as much a giggle as him sot is twice the fun....

Debby Rowe who was our Madonna for the night was cracking up and trying to keep a straight face singing, especially when Mark gets up during her act and starts dancing to vogue with all the movements (seeing really was believing)he is really good, and does things that make the jaws drop which is always good in my books..but nobody complained, they just wished they could do it and it seemed to end up contagious , by the end of the night people who wouldnt normally get up and dance were all trying to have a go, so it made for a brilliant night all round..it was great to see my fella having so much fun, although i had a job getting him to come home..he told my dad when we did eventually roll in he'd only had 2 wines... what he didnt say was it 2 bottles..oops he has a hangover from hell today (serves him right i say) lol

Ive been out with some fun people in my time and had some wonderful unforgetable nights, and last night will deinately be joining those nights, i honestly thought it wasnt going to be any good...it was the first night out we had with our new friends, but i hope it wont be the last......they were such a giggle and great fun to be around....

As for our Madonna for the night (Debby rowe)... she was brilliant and had us all up singing & dancing the night away .. I danced to every song the dj played and this morning feel like i havent been to bed..

So its a huge thank you to new friendships.. and for making everyones night, one for the armchair, it definately was a friday night to remember.. although my fella cant remember much of the later half and has now gone to salsa lessons looking like he needs to go back to bed.....lol

I went out expecting nothing and came home laughing my head off... it was a totally brilliant night and has given me many smiles this morning... I cant wait for the Grease night now, its fancy dress so time to make those Olivier Newton John trousers, ive always wanted a pair but now have the perfect night to wear them......

Im now gonna make myself a nice cuppa sit down and come back down to earth...

Dayles up tonight so we have a family night planned, knowing my family it wont be a quiet one, so tomorrow im planning a day of doing absolutely nothing, ,maybe a walk up a beach and a lovely early night... i never thought id say this........ but i really need one.........lol

What a week, its been manic...........

Im spring cleaning out my house out with everything that doesnt move, so every day im taking on another room...I teamed up withs Sandra and took a day off from my normal work so i could really get to grips with it...ooops i got 4 bin bags of clothes toys and things she had collected its now ready for painting and clear.. it looks & feels so much better...

Tuesday night was belly dancing and salsa, it was one of the best nights weve had although its also getting harder, the spins are now turning into elabrote ones and i cant practise at class with my fella..lol we argue ! ..lol we never argue normally, but as soon as we dance together at salsa classes i either get told to bugger off and dance with someone else, last week its because im ahead of him and he cant keep up (thats not really true as he is doing an extra 2 hour class every saturday without me, and is getting good) i take little steps and my fella takes big ones so when it comes to turns it gets complicated, we were doing an interlocked one where i go under then he does its supposed to be done very fast but together we cant quite seem to fit !! hehe

He palmed me off with someone else and i did pick it up, the same happened to my fella with another girl, they got it straight away....lol when we practise at home it works without argument and we have a right giggle, mind you im wearing short skirts and no underwear so it makes him want to get those turns right...lol

So we are spillting up at classes now and just practising together in private, it works much better and we should eventually end up being able to dance together when we know what we are doing a bit better...........

Anyway dayle came up last night to see us after work, it was a nice surprise as we didnt expect it so it made for another good night...

Hes been cutting everyones hair here, Ryan looks terrific and has been complimented all day at school by the girls, all wanting to stroke him(im not saying anything here)lol im just glad hes happy at school full stop, no doubt i will have worse to come...lol

But he also got his scissors out on me last night too and my fella loves it, i havent lost any length as im growing it, but hes given me probably the best hair cut ive ever had.............

But it started me and my partner off in a conversation which is where i need your help please...

I want to try something a bit different and change

Ive done my blondes have more fun bit so id love to prove thats theres no difference, its not about the hair colouring its about what lifes inside a person, and seems springs coming and i intend doing all sorts of non blogable things in those woods, i really feel like a change.......

Peaceful

Its been a great couple of days, we were out sunday at my aunts for the day, she has the most amazing garden its like a wood...Its huge but a lot of hard work as that in itself is a full time job..

Dayle was up on saturday night and gave Lauren and Ryan a haircut, my god hes one tallented lad, ive never seen anyone use scissors like hes does, he certainly takes after his dad with wanting to be good at what hes doing, if he sticks at this i think he will be a bit special in the hair styling world, hes got something very special...I trained from 13 and worked in a hairdressers after school 4 nights a week so i can cut hair, but he gave Ryan a style i could have never done it looks amazing, ive just got the job every day of styling it before he goes to high school (as if i dont have enough to do in the mornings lol) its a good job i get up early..........

Yesterday i worked from home combining working with my partner and trying to sort the house out.. the kids seem to use me as an open house at weekends and i get half the neighbourhood in, i dont mind as id rather they were in here than playing in the streets, would just appreciate it not being trashed everyday.. does parenthood ever get any easier? lol

My eldest is a gem and really does support me, hes hitting the kevin stage at the moment wants trendy haircuts, uses the words ' whatever!' more often and i have to get up and blow dry his hair before school now....lol but hes a good lad and always telling me how much he loves me and gives me hugs... so that makes up for any grief, i really am so proud of how hes turning out, hes the one who makes everyone smile at home at school and even at work, he will ring me to just say hi....sometimes when you juggle being a working mum your'e doing your best you feel guilty, i do, guilty that i cant spend more time with them and am always juggling, i remember the same thing with my mum she worked 7 days a week and us girls would help each other in between the fighting..lol I do let the kids have sleepovers and mates round most nights and a couple of the lads always turn up at meal times hungry (their mums work shifts) so im keeping it open and enjoying the buzz of it all.. sometimes its great to have a mad house, id just like a tidy one...

So much is happening for my fella, hes still engrossed in working, we are splitting it down the middle when hes working i leave him alone or help out (we have been working together this week), but on our nights off the computers are off and we'll end up just having a cuddle listening to music and talk, it seems to be working now, i wrote a blog when he anoyed me and he read it ! oops since then the laptop goes off when its our time.. we get our time together and really appreciate it when we do, but the work still gets done, i dont think people realise what has to be done with a website, you never catch up, as fast as you think you are something else needs doing, he forgot me last week completely i came home for the kids prepare the meals and get ready for belly dancing he was due home at 5.30 i get picked up at 6 by stelli so 6 comes and goes half past and about 6.45 he walks in... i couldnt get angry, ive learnt that he doesnt mean it it simply gets engrossed and forgets, i made it to the class thankfully, just broke out in a sweat before id got there..lol

I was talking to my aunt sunday and shes offered to let me ride her horse down the beach, hes beautiful and its what i wanted to do for my 40th in may, we were going on holiday to do it, but sadly i cant get away the dates i wanted so im spending my birthday here with the people i love (my family) and having a holiday afterwards, we never got one last year, the whole year was just a constant slog of work, so hopefully this year we will get some time out, weve got tents to take the kids camping, so many nights sleeping at the beach and woods instore, im really excited weve found the perfect place and are roughing it for as few days.........my kind of weekend..

Anyway the house is falling silent the kids are off one by one, so its time for mum to clean up now before i can go to work......... its tuesday, its windy but at least that sun is shining day...

Dancing in the rain

Have you ever had experiences through your life when you know no matter how old you get or what happens ,you know that moment will stay with you?

I woke early, the first thing i do is look out of the bedroom window at the sky and smile, there's days when the clouds are looming but there's also days that the weather can heighten experiences and can bring surprises... this morning was definitely a feel good one..

I was choked when they took me off Sorrel (the chestnut horse) i loved riding him and was a bit sick that i could only now sit and watch him , i was moved horses as Sarah said i was progressing well she wanted to see if i could cope and handle shadow (the white horse) it was done for the right reasons and supposed to be a new challenge, but i didn't feel the same when i rode her, shes more powerful totally unpredictable and loves to lead..oops my fella says I was given a horse that's like me.....oops again , i lost some of that feeling i have when i ride and felt sad when i watched Sorrel and his new rider..

Today we pulled up and the whole paddock was full of jumps ! its not a problem for those of you that are used to this, or been riding for years, but to me after just a few months into the class it was a bit nerve racking, my first words when i got out of the car were ... oh shit ! lol

Ive never seen so many jumps in there, i have to lead the class now too and have no sense of direction at all...lol

The girls all laugh Sarah asks if i have my confident knickers on today ..no (not the best day for a G string) they must all be getting to know me pretty well as they just giggle and take no notice of me...

I had the best lesson, every week im learning something new and getting to know Shadow who is definitely free spirited .. she knows she can do these jumps with her eyes closed so decides shes going to lead again... this time i didn't let her, i did so well ...kept her under control, but also gave her enough freedom to work with me, and my god didn't she..........

Every moan Ive had about that horse being too fast I'm taking back, she will make me a better rider, Sorrels easy to ride, but she definitely isnt ! so i was copping out ...lol

We were jumping the whole lesson it was brilliant, the rain started halfway through and i was then on the doubles i had one thing in my head taking those jumps (you're gonna giggle at this)... I honestly couldnt think of a better feeling than that moment, my face was soaked the wind was blowing my hair everywhere yet i felt so good and felt like i was flying.......

It wasn't Sorrel that used to make me feel like that ... it was me.... the girls there are brilliant and support us to the hilt, i got a huge compliment from Nikita when we finished the lesson, she said that not many people can handle shadow properly but i was one who can .................. i sat there on that horse feeling about 13 with my mouth wide open....lol I was actually proud of what id done (it had to be the week my fella didn't come too) lol

Coming home we were giggling about how me and Lauren feel in our time out at the stables together, we go home so excited on a high for the rest of the day and really get taken the mickey out of, but no words can say how it feels or how i felt today, nothing else i have done even touches it (well ok then perhaps one other thing).... lol ....It was exilerating...

I don't want to be put back on the chestnut horse anymore, i want to ride the white horse and feel how i did today... soaked through to the skin by the rain ...but glowing with happiness inside out..

I need to get that G string out more often........lol

Growing wild

Good morning the suns shining again..lol

I had to giggle last night , Laurens like me and loves wild flowers so i came up with the idea of getting one of everything she likes and pressing them into a book along with a happy thought, so last night she comes home with a snowdrop...oops ive asked her never to pick those, they are my all time favourite flower and symbolize alot to me, its a flower that gave me hope (ill explain that later lol) but she came home from school with one, they aren't found everywhere, they are at my riding school and a wood i go when i need to sit back and restock, but not anywhere locally here, they are more wild flowers not what normal people have growing in their gardens...

So last night in she comes so pleased she got my flower, and about ten mins later was followed by a lady who's garden she had been into picking the flowers from.............oops lol

I felt awful but had to stop myself from laughing, i always hoped my kids would turn out resourceful but not to that extent, she had told the lady the flower or for me as i needed happy thoughts, so the lady came to ask... She was fine and said it was a thoughtful reason and laurens promised not to go digging up anyone's gardens anymore, the flowers do indeed grow wild in her back garden , shes elderly and doesn't do anything to it ... i bet its beautiful..

I have all sorts of plans this end for my garden, i want to create a place that's wild but naturally scented, somewhere i can sit through the summer and feel like im somewhere else, so im planting jasmine, grape vines and all sorts of lovelies, not forgetting the lambs tongue !! lol you don't need green fingers for that, just one hell of an imagination when you pick it..............hehe

I must be feeling better, now you all know why i cant wait for spring.. and im taking a keen interest in gardening..

Im working from home today as im sorting out the underwear section and its not good to drool in public.............lol Its belly and salsa dancing tonight so im gonna grab a bath later, prepare everyones meals and get the house all tidy ready for the kids to wreck when ive gone out..

My dad keeps coming back every week and ive resorted to blackmail as i cant miss the classes, so i lay out little prizes for him to give out when they are good and just tidy everything up when i get home, ive had a good night, the kids are happy and grandad now knows why ive got a white streak through my fringe now.. hehe

Has anyone been listening to the marmite song? its by David Jordan 'sun goes down' its one of those you either love or hate.............I totally love it and constantly play it on my headset, he reminds me a bit of prince in the way he moves and paints his nails but i cant get it out of my head, if ever theres a song of the year for me its gotta be that one...... i havent felt like dancing til the sun goes down for a while but those feelings are coming back .... ive put in the youtube below , i dont know why but it just reminds me of chant the woods and finding that spiritual fun loving side and dancing.......

Thoughts that count

We went out Friday to meet up with friends after work had a swim, a meal and spent the evening having a great time, everyone was there so it was a real giggle, i look so forward to weekends now, but still cant wait for spring..lol

My sister Denise and Jade also came to see me again with Lacey , it seems to be happening every week now, i don't live out of my family's pocket but really appreciate when we do meet up, i gave her a huge hug, that i have been meaning to do for ages...

So its been a really good weekend, a little windy admittedly, so we couldn't sadly ride Saturday, but we made up for it and had a really nice couple of days..

I did my friends hair Saturday instead of riding which took me 3 hours bless, shes been feeling a bit low so i decided id give her a makeover.. i dyed her hair & restyled it, had some fun with different colour make up, gave her eyelash and eyebrow tints , which was great fun for me although id only left myself about 5 mins to get everything prepared for the evening, and i had made such a mess ..lol but she looked like a new pin , i got such a good feeling knowing id done something to make her feel better, she looked great ...

Dayle came up again Saturday night, he is really coming out of his shell, we had some gifts in our shed that we had brought but sadly never got to give, the kids unbeknown to me went in and opened one.... i was a bit upset (as they were gifts )but kids being kids they just wanted to play it, me and my fella both looked at each other but my fella smiled and cleared the table to play.. hes definitely not very sentimental is he............lol

We sat up til 3am Sunday morning playing games, all the kids were still up and so excited as its the latest they have ever been allowed up, but the night was totally brilliant and my first taste at my family working as one... Dayle has already brought something to us, i love him to bits, hes already trying to sort my hair out and chop it off , so I'm enjoying being rebellious by telling him i want to be a rock babe with hair that looks like its been dragged through a hedge, my fella would hit the roof if i chopped it off ...lol Im just so pleased hes come into our life, i look forward to Saturdays now as much as my fella does, the kids love him and thankfully he likes being the oldest brother....

I woke up mothers day to a bomb site for a house... but in my kids wonderful eyes... mothers day was my special day, so mum will clean it all and just be happier all day with it............. I love their logic and couldn't help but smile, innocence is so wonderful sometimes...

The biggest smile ive had for some time came from callum, he had collected little flowers for me mothers day and sprayed them with my favourite bottle of perfume (thats now empty! hehe) he even made a little box for them.. how sweet was that, but guess where he hid it ?

Under the toilet................................hehehe

I sat in the bath listening to the radio and i could see this little pink box squished under , i was really praying it wasn't a cake ! ....

So I'm now having to shove petals down my bra to smell nice, but at least the thought was definitely there.......bless
