Last night we went along to the talk for the Lord mayors procession after party, talk about watch in owe, the dancers were all so amazing i spent most of the night with my fella just watching them all.
From what we heard the day went really well, so a pat on the back and congratulations is well deserved for all those people that worked so hard and took part in the first Cuban salsa show.
Sharon told me last night that Leandro Charanga is coming to the Staithe on the 28th August to the Dance Cuban Party along with Sacha who will be helping out with the music so its one event everyone should be adding to that diary.
We watched Leandro last night and couldn't believe what we were seeing ! he has such a unique style and had everyone transfixed, its an art form in itself to watch what this guy does and his style its so beautiful, yet cheeky, his moves were unlike anything Ive ever seen in salsa before, at one point he had a lady turning, to then end up with her in the air balanced on his foot! it was something else to watch, so I'm really looking forward to the party now, theres going to be so many good dancers there its a night not to forget my camera.
