Logging off

Ive had such a cracking day today, everythings gone lovely and boy I cant wait to get out tonight .. im so excited today

Ive spent the day with Sandra. ive been typing away at samples while she supplied me tea and giggles all day, ive done enough today that i can stop now, enjoy a bath and get myself ready to dance the night away with our friends..

I realised one thing today that although its a lot of work at the moment doing one off items, its so much fun as every time i load in a photo it brings a smile to my face...

Im one step closer to Paris ...

My fellas been in a brilliant mood today and its caught on, the kids are all happy (and quiet) im very happy and pleased with myself and days like today remind me just how calm and nice things can feel, id forgotten how that feels... until now...

If theres any justice in this world (or better luck) then hopefully this year will be nothing like last year, the only good memories i brought from 2009 were salsa and riding and my friends, its not been easy..

But i feel things are on the change now ..... I actually feel like singing and dancing up my street ... naked !!

As they say the night is still young, so i may just shock the neighbours later and do just that..

Today wont be here again, so as my fella agrees ' we are gonna enjoy every minute of it' ..lol

I also finished the dress that i was making !! it looks really beautiful so when the weekend gets here im doing the photos and finally sending it off to a good home, someones going to look and feel beautiful in it........ im so pleased its turned out just as i hoped.....

And finished my working day off wonderfully...

Me time now.... salsa here we come...lol

Early Bird

Yesterday went well, im still in high spirits regardless of the rain teaming down outside..lol

I spent the night huddled up into my fella on the sofa trying not to think of the big bag of sweets sitting in the fridge calling me..I vowed id eat healthier so im gonna stick to it, the local shopkeeper Jazz keeps trying to torment me and is hanging the sherbet outer spacers literally in front of that til now, what am i like... she doesn't think ill last 2 weeks so i will now ...hehe

Between me and my fella were taking it in turns to cook every night and coming up with some fantastic meals, yesterday was something new a lamb casserole done with wine and cream, ive honestly never tasted lamb like it, it was incredible even Sandra took a pot home for her tea..

Im so blessed having a guy like i have, he comes dancing with me, loves music as much as me and will try anything once, that's why we eventually got to salsa, i always wanted to learn the dance so both went along, its thanks to him that im who i am, hes just as mad as me so encourages it...lol

Today im not sure what ill be getting up to yet, im still working on the samples so am playing the day by ear, I have a new bird table my son made me last night at boys brigade that ive promised to hang up although i think looking at the weather today the birds wont be worrying about feeding in it they will be using it as a shelter.............hehe

Anyway its time to get the tribe ready for school, my fellas already awake by the sounds of it , I can hear his version of 'Prince' and 'Kiss ' being sung in a manner only he can manage coming from the kitchen with the kids screaming at him to shut up..

Just your typical breakfast then...........................

I think ive just reminded why i dont usually wake him up til the kids have gone to school.....lol

Nights to Remember

The weeks been a good one, Monday it was riding as usual with Kevin and the group..

I wasn't allocated a horse as i usually am. instead i walked into a choice of 3 so went for Jack, hes beautiful to ride and has such a long stride and as im concentrating on transition i thought he'd be a good one to learn on, Pip is beautiful but he will always canter easily, that's not what i want.

Kevin knows that i want to learn right, without needing a whip so i know what im doing is right, its not easy by a long shot but im slowly making good progress, half way through the lesson Kevin got on my horse to show me exactly what to do and it all made sense its just getting enough weight into that saddle, weight which i at the moment which im not carrying much of, so its made it harder..

Every week i go there now i really dont want to leave, im starting the lessons earlier as ive been moved up a group but im getting home later and later...hehe I stand there putting all the blankets on the horses and grooming them ready for bed now, so i get home covered in mud and always tired but feel so happy..

Last night was belly dancing followed by salsa, the belly dancing was a unique night, as our teacher seemed to be in her own little world and was just doing her own thing ! hehe it wasn't an easy one to follow but my god we had some giggles trying, shes so good and makes it look so easy, but it isn't, every muscle is getting used and ask anyone in that class how stiff they feel on Wednesdays....I must be getting some of my flexibility back though as im now able to sit and lay completely flat against straight legs in front of me (which i was really pleased about last night) this morning however im not quite so optimistic, ouch !....lol

Salsa followed with me being in a very happy but mischievous mood, so i did tend to get myself and my partners into trouble all night, Derick and Ken were hilarious and did really make the night so much fun for me, they played along wonderfully and turned every move into something that it wasn't supposed to be.....hehe Adrian told them off and just kept moving me on...........lol I love nights like that, everyone was having such a giggle and enjoying a night of dancing....

When they were doing basic steps for the new guys and warming up, i was practising all the shoulder stuff that sharon taught me, my teaches face was a picture with me shimmeeing around those poor guys, i think he thought i was flirting so kept moving me on to different partner every few minutes.....hehe

I honestly couldnt help myself, i was in such high spirits yesterday, god knows why but for whatever reason i hope today feels as good........

This morning its back to the drs for my weekly checkup, from the neck up, hehe and ive got a day listing all one offs in the site, so its going to be interesting day if nothing else, its a night in tonight as Thursday its my favourite night of the week up the Staithe with Sharon and Richard for Cuban Salsa and Bacharta, I cant wait for this !!

Saturday this week we have a party to go to and sunday night were out dancing again, so its going to be a lively week....

I better ask for some extra iron today then...............lol

Creative Day

Is it Friday already....lol wheres the week gone..

Its been another good one again, im doing all sorts of stuff this end now but im really enjoying myself..

I set myself a challenge last week so today will be spending the day on a sewing machine, im looking forward to this..

The kids have just left for school, my fella has left for a very important meeting and im left with a sink full of washing up and a trail of kids stuff that just miraculously got there by itself again..lol

But today ill get done quick as i know the days mine to do Jos stuff, they will only wreck it when they get home anyway, ill tell myself that one and bypass a few of the jobs...hehe

I have to say im so proud of my kids, yes they are messy (i was too at that age) they argue (so did i with my sisters) but they are all kind hearted and never fail to tell me how much they love me everyday when they walk out of that door, it makes every morning special for me..

I came back from salsa last night to find pictures all over the kitchen... Brandon had been designing clothes ! there was also picture of the dress i was making on my manequin, i was pretty shocked just how good he really is, he may not be top of the class in writing but his drawing skills are incredible...

Theres so much going on at the moment i cant say my lifes boring...

Ive decided im finishing the dress today as it cant sit there forever, i was intending to wear it when i eventually did tie the knot down the beach, but my tastes have changed so im going to stick it in the site instead, i have bags of stuff that never got finished and my challenge is to work through every garment and finish the lot ! lol my fellas been helping me sort out whats what so im going to get my creative head working again and do something positive with it ..

Last night we were with Sharon and Richard at the Staithe for our salsa lesson, my legs werent quite as bad as last weeks (i couldn't do anything right) hehe.. but our night was cut short sadly as my fella was in pain and couldnt dance as he usually loves to , so we learnt the routine Richard showed us and are going to spend some time this weekend getting that right, its the healthiest ive felt for months so a great way to keep that feeling..

Today i also need to book tickets for the salsa night at the Talk http://www.dancecuban.net/section/1/articles/reviews-on-cuban-groups-and-events/la-cuban-ritmo/ theres a band coming that noone wants to miss on the 7th February (including me..oh yes!) so along with a group of our good friends we are going along, theres so many good gigs and events happening at the moment.... so much to look forward to is always good in my books...

Im excited this morning for my fella, hes got probably the most important meeting hes ever had, so my thoughts and love are sitting in that seat beside him today..

When i told him that this morning he laughed and said " That means they will be asleep then like you always are in the car" .... lol

Gigi Night

Its so far been a great Monday, the house is clean the work is done and ive got the afternoon free now to do some bits for me...yipee

Its riding tonight for Lauren and myself so starting at 4 most of tonight will be spent down the stables as usual with Kevin and the guys there..

My fellas decided as im riding hes heading off to the forum to salsa, so all you girls out there will have an extra partner tonight...lol Cheryl Fran, Sharon, Derik they are all gonna be there and for the first time ever im so jealous.... but as i cant half myself, i'll go and feel the wind through my hair (and get soaked hopefully)on my horse.. so i hope you all have a brilliant night and send my love to all my mates with mr travolta....

I really want to go along to the forum on mondays but im riding and in the 6.15 lesson, but my son also goes to the Raf on Monday nights now and i dont want to hold him back from doing the things he loves..

Ive got so much energy today and really feel like dancing, but ive bought myself a little pressie for the new year thats just arrived today so am going to be experimenting with that tonight instead... with the help of a vodka in the other hand..lol

Sexy salsa

Its Friday and for the first time in a long while, ive got that Friday feeling..lol

Last night was such a good night, Sharon and Richard were such good fun, I had one of those nights where i couldnt get my feet to work with my head but still managed to have a great night out..

It was so nice to meet up with everyone, that place is so right everyones relaxed and just out for a great night of cuban style salsa and plenty of giggles..

I went home and ate the peanut butter as usual, so my resolution of not doing that after dancing didnt last long, i was starving...hehe

We did our fun warm up while concentrating on the body styling, and it really does make such a difference, watching Sharon and Richard dancing last night i was totally mesmerized, talk about sexy.. I dont know anyone who can dance like these guys do together, it really is something to see and feel, we all feel that place light up.............

We've booked up to go on a trip with them to see the band that came to give us a drumming workshop so with a mini bus full of our friends its one night we will all be talking about afterwards...

I had to smile last night as my other instructor who teaches us cross body came to the cuban class last night, it made me smile as i always dance cross body with him so to switch completely and do all that stuff he tells me not to do usually really made me smile, at the end of the night he gave them the biggest compliment ive ever heard him give anyone and said that the room was alight with energy, and that watching sharon and richard was amazing, so its official now sharon we all agree, your hips really dont lie and are the sexiest little movers in stalham..... hehe

Well if the new year carries on like this ill be more than happy..lol

Right time to get my head down to some work today im meeting up with everyone again tonight and hitting the Keir hardi (im such a little stop out this week) and lovin every minute of it.................

Hot Salsa Nights

Last night was belly dancing and salsa.. oh my word what a brilliant night We had it was such good fun...

The belly dancing showed me how stiff ive become over xmas as although i havent got much hip didnt i struggle to get them wiggling, i was as stiff as a board from riding the night before so couldnt get the coins to jingle on my belt..lol (im gonna cheat next week and make everyone giggle with my fellas xmas pressie he got me....you know what im talking about dont you Sharon and Stell.... im gonna wear them just to see if it works..lol

We had great fun in the class and instead of Lorraine taking it easy on us (as i hoped) she certainly made up for my weeks off and made the class a testing but good one, by the end of the lesson i was starting to already feel knackered and id still got a 2 hour salsa class to get through... serves me right for cramming so much in this week..lol

The salsa though i didnt have to worry about, thanks to the hip shaking warm up, i wasnt as bad as i thought id be, its been a while since weve done cross body style and although i was told im moving cuban style (hehe) i did really have a go and really enjoyed the class ..

I got to partner some great guys last night and had such a giggle in the process, deriks back to classes now full time so i made sure i kept grabbing him, hes such a nice bloke and brilliant fun we spend half the time trying to stop laughing as i sing to him as we go along (badly too).. my fella was kept entertained all night but looked more than happu as i couldnt get near him ... lol one lady was chatting him up and believes hes single, so i left him to it but had enormous fun watching him turn red.. hehe

We finished the night off in the bar (no vodka though) a group of us all got together to catch up and see what things we could plan for this year, between us we should be able to come up with some great nights out.. the last time we were all together was on the salsa boat and as that feels like such a long time ago now we have lots to catch up on....

Last night I slept like a baby, I felt so happy when I got home and didnt eat the fridge as i used to do. I was happy that we picked up where we left off with last years fun stuff, so will keep this feel good feeling and make sure im there every week now..

Tonight i have a cosy night in planned, im putting the kids to bed early grabbing my fella loads of candles and having a long soak in that bath (yes together) hes promised me i dont have to sit on the plug as usual so its a date.. We're cooking something nice and enjoying a night in..

As tomorrow it all starts again........... my favourite night of the week.. oh Yes! Stalham and Sharon and Richards cuban class.. I may be a little stiff at the moment but we're going to try sort that out tonight by dirty dancing round the lounge, so will be back to full force and ready to salsa by tomorrow.. I cant wait......

I actually think i have salsa withdrawl syptoms today as i just heard shakiras hips dont lie and felt my spirit soar, its like feeling the sun on your face from inside out...

It may be cold outside but these hot salsa nights bring warmth, fun and so much more than just dancing..

Who cares about the weather eh..... not me today..lol

Back To Life

Its been a manic start to the week as i expected, trying to get everyone back to school and finding that enthusiasm to start work again....I took time out from work for a change and actually got myself well and rested up all ready for the new year..

Yesterday was a busy day, i have all sorts of plans for 2009 starting with lots more salsa and riding so last night i went to the stables to kick that one off....lol It was snowing when we walked the horses down and although cold, it was totally magical...

The group is such a laugh, there were 9 of us in last nights group which is the most ive ever been with, with me spending most of the night watching the guys arse in front of me....lol i know its not polite to stare but he had the tightest jodhpurs on ive ever seen and i couldnt stop laughing watching him rise and trot, it did start and finish the night hillariously funny for me.. jodhpurs really are a no no for some guys! hes so posh but was so nice to me, i actually felt guitly knowing id been sitting there behind him in hysterics..oops ...lol

Tonight im taking on the belly dancing and salsa class all in one night again ! ive missed my friends over xmas so arranged to meet up with Stelli and go shake some hips that i havent got..lol I know im going to ache tomorrow but im starting how i intend to go on so 4 hours of vigerous dancing should start the ball rolling and hopefully start getting me back into shape...

I hope this year i can start finding that confidence to start more of the armwork and body movement, im fine when ive had a vodka but cant do the spins very well then..hehe so i need to push myself a bit more now..

I had to giggle last night when i preparing for riding the triplets were obviously all tired from their first day back to school as one by one i watched them all fall asleep on the sofa, so i covered them up and then went to get dressed , when i came down my fella was out for the count, its not easy sometimes to find your get up and go, especially watching the snow fall outside knowing you are gonna freeze, but somehow as soon as im up the stables i just come to life, the best part for me is wrapping the horses up ready for bed and knowing youve done something nice for them...

Ive met some really nice people there, they are all such characters but i think thats why i fit in so well, nobody judges, just tries to have fun while learning something good.

This year i am trying to do more jumping, im crazing Kevin , him and claire are both amazing, Ive always wanted to be able to ride well enough i can go off up the beach ... No amount of money anyone could offer would better that for me, its been a dream for a long time to go cantering off up that sand, so instead of just dreaming im going to try and make it happen..

Shivvers

Well xmas brought a few extras we werent antisipating..lol flue

We were going to a party last night, instead both me and my fella were wrapped up in fleeces sharing the sneezing time again, hehe

Ive now had this dreaded thing 3 times so know what to expect, my fella hasnt had it before so already is on the sofa sounding half dead... it is man flue after all...lol

No seriously its not nice, everyone we know is either suffering or had it and unlike other forms this one comes back ! i havent eaten properly for weeks now so im praying the kids will eat the fridge this week, i bought so many goodies i just cant face eating....

Tuesday Dayles coming to do my hair ready for new years eve ! so its fingers crossed we can both get back on our feet and get to this party..

We were having Creane and dad up for a huge dinner today but Creanes feeling the same as we are, so im sending her my best wishes and will save the beef for next week...


I think ill get the brandy out today... for medicinal purposes of course..lol

Family Festives

Good morning everyone ! I hope everyone had a good christmas...

Its been a lovely few days, no work, just play and a great time spent with my family..

Xmas morning was wonderful the kids were so excited, this year we did things a little differently..

Instead of the expensive xbox or playstation stuff we decided we would get the kids everything that gets their mind and bodies working .. it worked, not once has someone moaned that they are bored...lol

Sometimes taking it back to basics can bring many surprises, this year it brought loads..

My kids were thrilled with the bits we got them, have managed to give me one of the best christmas's ive had and everyones managed to think of each other here.. especially dad with Callums electric shock game, the loser gets a lovely surprise running down their arm....lol

Brandon asked santa for a skateboard & has been in his element, But everyone else didnt ask for anything so on our day out together me and my fella managed to find an assortment of all those things we wanted as kids to see how the kids would react, why did i not do this before......lol

All day i played with the kids, i managed to cook a brilliant dinner in between and thoroughly enjoyed the day..

Boxing days much more chilled here so is my favourite, i get to make bubble and squeak and put my feet up a bit, my fella met up with dayle and took all the kids down to the cinema ! I couldnt believe he offered, so i got to spend an enjoyable hour in the bath and prepare a feast for when everyone arrived back, Estelle came to spend some time with me, so we caught up on all the gossip and had a real giggle, as soon as the kids were back it was mad !

They managed to eat just about everything that was laid out and did me proud ..

The late evening was spent with just me, my fella and Dayle and what better way to finish off two lovely days..

This lad is so creative and tallented when i get together with him i cant stop talking, he reminds me so much of Gok (how to look good naked) he has the same brilliant sense of humour and makes you feel so incredible... everyone who knows him loves him, so to have him as part of our family is a gift in itself......

He has a little surprise in the new year for me, i know what hes doing and cant wait !! so next year will bring some interesting changes.....lol

Ive thoroughly enjoyed christmas and a much needed rest away from the work...

Today im taking the kids down to the beach to test out those little metal detectors so will pack some flasks and blow away those xmas cobwebs..

Im really looking forward to a new year......

The last one wasnt so kind to us so heres hoping the new one will bring some good stuff, i know im already lucky with my family here so heres hoping it will bring many smiles..

In the Bag

Well i have to admit its been a brilliant day....

Im not stressed at all, in fact im very happy and feeling totally festive tonight, ive spent a great day with my fella and managed to do everything I didnt think we could in a day...............lol

This morning started with sandra doing me breakfast (Nothing posh here just toast) but its more than what i normally eat so already we were off to a good start..

We started at a little butchers miles from anywhere out in the country and picked up our beautiful turkey, they had horses next door in the fields so i spent most of the time wandering round talking to them, leaving my fella to sort the meat out ..lol well, hes always going on about that word and how a certain type of meat makes everything better for us women, so i left him to it......hehe

Then onto Sainsburys, managing to fill up two trolleys with so many lovelies, im ashamed to say i was actually hiding things i wouldnt normally buy under the crisps..lol the funny part was when we got to the checkout my fella had done exactly the same thing.......... but of course they will blame us women, ive never seen so much cheese and chocolate.......lol

Ive tried the other supermarkets over the years and sainsburys is the only one i can get my fella to go to without him getting stressed, it really was chilled out, there was even a chap helping you by keeping a car parking space ready and clear !! how good was that !

We dropped off what looks like a years shopping with 30 mins to unpack then moved onto the city centre........omg i was dreading this part..

Ideas of wandering round aimlessly were going through my head, but weve managed to get everyone we wanted a lovely gift that we really enjoyed choosing together, i totally loved it..

Usually its me getting the gifts and my fella indoors not even knowing what we gave people... how many of you guys are guilty of that one? lol

The days ended so well, ive still got the wrapping to do tonight now the kids are in bed, but after all the packing ive done in the last few months this should be a doddle...............lol

I couldnt believe how many sales there were up there today, we were getting things at prices i couldnt believe, sale after sale it never stopped !!

Hats off to my fella tonight, i said if we got this lot done in a day it would be a miracle, by the time xmas gets here im usually in and out of the festive spirit by now..

I have to admit im not doing that anymore, im doing this again next year, not only did we have a great day together, we both felt really festive and really got into the spirit of things, the lights were beautiful out there tonight..

Right its time for the mulled wine and some homemade sausage rolls, my daughter had fun making those with sandra today and boy they've turned out great...

Mums now going back into the packing room again tonight to wrap the things that hopefully will bring a few smiles to some great kids, i cant wait to see their faces when they see what we've got them....lol

Its not about how much weve spent, ive kept to a tight budget and stuck to it like glue, but i know they are gonna love what weve got them........

Lets hope they are very much like their mum and dad like we hope....

We were playing with them for hours in that shop .........lol

Bareback Riding

Oh what a night i had......................lol

Last night was my last riding lesson before Xmas so the guys up the stables decided to give us a night to remember ! bareback riding...................

Ive only ever done it once before and nothing like last night, there were 6 of us each partnering up with someone standing by to stop the horse in case we fell off ..(don't tell my fella that part though, i didn't ! ) lol

It was totally brilliant and Ive got to say easily as exciting as jumping, you feel at one completely with the horse..

I rode a few of the horses to get the feeling of each style and the last but not the least was to go off on my own into trot (i honestly think it was near canter) as they were shouting to my partner to slow him down....hehe

Ive discovered that i can ride really well without the saddle, so my dream of riding a horse up that beach now has slightly changed, i still want to ride that horse through the surf but as nature intended, both of us free as birds without that saddle...

We finished what was a wonderful night racing up to the top of the arena still bareback acting like total children having to stick our heads in plates of icing sugar trying to find prizes that were right at the bottom of course... and i loved every minute of it........

red halls given me so much this year, its the best school ive ever been to i feel like part of the furniture now and cant wait to start the new year with the two best things ive discovered in 2008 and made part of my life.. salsa and horseriding.......

Dance Cuban Xmas Party

What a night we all had ! ive got a mojito hangover............lol

Last night was the http://www.dancecuban.net/ Christmas party.... Oh what a night !

The mojitos were flowing, everyone was dancing the night away in true cuban style with the best bunch of people you could ask for...

Sharon and Richard thanks to all their hard work really gave us all a chistmas party to remember...

We did everything from the conga.... not the type you typically do at weddings, this is far more sexier and so much fun to do everyone in that place was up and shaking the dancefloor, it really was such a brilliant night..

I havent danced for a couple of weeks so was a little stiff to start but with Richard dancing son and Ralph grabbing me for my first cuban salsa dances it soon made me realise what ive been missing.. My fella was on fire last night and completely wore me out, its a good job i had extra iron this week i will say, how many spins was he throwing me into............lol

Ive woke up for work today feeling like ive been on holiday, my energy levels are up my smile is fixed to permanent today and thanks to everyone at dance cuban im going to be smiling all the way through xmas..

I also want to thank Sharon and Richard for my beautiful flowers and my fellas gifts, You guys are so thoughtful and kind. you havent just taught us dancing, youve also made us part of a community that is very special to us and everyone in it..

Salsa really has changed everything, ive gone from someone who felt like she was falling to bits last week, to a girl who wants to take on the world today, and its all thanks to you both..

Im sure im not alone here when i send you all my love and wish you both a wonderful, magical xmas..

Last night was made magical because of you guys and a great bunch of people we now call our friends..............thanks guys for such a memorable night..

Cuban salsa is the best thing weve done in 2008 so heres to many more salsa parties in 2009 and sore feet (cuban style of course).. hehe

Winters chills

Its been a while since i posted on here, things have been pretty manic to say the least (nothing new there then !) lol

Ive been struggling with a few health problems which im trying to sort out and then went and got this dreaded man flue thing to top the biscuit.. so its not been the easiest on months, in fact its probably been the hardest ive had this year but im still going..

Ive been packing orders for England and making sure all the customers are looked after well its just myself i havent had much time for and boy is it showing now.. I looked a wreck !

So this week my fella made me an appointment to go see my dr, im glad i went as there are a few things that i needed some help on, i got lectured about taking time out for me and needing a break (which cracks me up as i have no hope there) so with me promising to do as im told, knowing as soon as im out of that surgery things have to carry on regardless.. its part of modern life now and with 4 kids and a business to run i can hardly put my feet up now can i..

yes i could quit work and cook cakes all day but thats not the way ive brought my kids up, ive always installed if they want something then they have to work hard to get it..

Ive managed to make sandra really ill this week, who is the only help i have here, she was trying to ease some of the pressure last week when i was really poorly and write all the addresses in my mailing books but working with me in a small office managed to give her flue so shes now tucked up in bed (hopefully) and getting herself well ready for next weeks onslaught of last minute orders..

Ive had the moany callers who blame me for ruining their parties as i didnt get their dress there on time, even though one lady ordered at midnight they expected it there by 9am the next morning so im taking it with a pinch of salt and managing to get that post out every morning, sometimes twice a day like yesterday.. i wanted it to be busy so im counting down the days til i can have a couple of days off and hopefully find my christmas spirit, it comes in a bottle and will be vodka shaped............hehe

I hurt my arm a few weeks ago moving some stock but kept putting off going for an xray, instead i did a jos version of DIY and have managed to use my other arm a lot more, i did finally get round to getting it looked at this week 4 weeks after first hurting it to find it was fractured ! boy did i get a telling off...lol But i must have done a half decent job as its mending nicely now (it itches like mad) so although its not reccomended i was swamped under with work and kids and grandad and couldnt face another hospital visit.

The good news is grandads doing ok, hes still very weak and thin but the heart surgery gave him new hope, he has a few cysts on his kidneys now that they are dealing with but we are all hopefull that he will get back to strength, i havent been allowed down my nans house now for 3 weeks as i didnt want to take any bugs down there but if hes up to it they have promised to come to mine for xmas dinner, every year we celebrate with them so im extremely grateful that we get to spend another year with him..

My mum flew back to tobago alot happier than she flew here and got to spend some precious time with her parents so although its not been easy we are still here and getting through whatever is being chucked at us all.

Tuesday i started to feel a little better, my fella took me to salsa so we could see some of our friends there and the night was lovely it just didnt stay like that, i got home to my eldest boy then being very sick and its kinda gone downhill from there again..lol

Today i have half my siblings home in bed all calling for mum every 2 mins for a hug paracetamol and water, ive had to so far change 2 beds this morning so no doubt it wont be the last, they have closed my eldest sons school as 40% of the kids are all suffereing from the same thing so whether the other 2 can manage to avoid this nasty bug remains to be seen..

I was looking so forward to salsa tonight but the kids being ill have changed my plans , ill be here and looking after them so my fellas going along and teaching me the moves when he gets back !

All those parties start next week so im determined to get everyone well here so we can celebrate our way and salsa the nights away..

I have a 2 hour gymkana at riding on monday night , which im really looking forward to, so im going to behave myself this week and get myself and everyone else well.......

So if any of you ladies out there see my fella out tonight grab him !! dont give him an easy night make him dance his socks off, i am so gonna miss you all tonight........

Back To Salsa

Its not often i get a photo of me and my fella together so i thought id post it..
We are like ships in the night at the moment but hopefully by xmas we should meet somewhere in the middle..lol

Thankful

Well its thursday already, the good news is grandads doing really well and is now expected to make a full recovery, hes out of intensive care and day by day is gaining back his strength...

Isnt he one tough cookie, the surgeon cant believe how well hes done, when they opened him up they said it had then started leaking so within 3 hours he wouldnt have been with us, its been a rough week for everyone but we honestly couldnt have wished for better news..

I went and collected my mum from Gatwick Tuesday...lol I had to laugh as she honestly never stopped talking, after about 2 hours i was sound asleep in the front seat and she was apparently still talking away..lol she hasnt changed at all that way, although shes lost so much weight she doesnt look anything like she used to, so we are all going to try and fatten her up a bit, ive been sending down hot meals to my nannies for everyone and with my sisters help we are all trying to help in our own little way.......

This weeks been so busy i havent stopped yet, but its really helped as it gives you plenty to do and passes the time quicker..

Tuesday was also my kids birthday !! yes ive survived 11 years now ! lol The day was as manic as you could imagine but a really good day for everyone, all our family came to see them and a few of our friends also made the day one to remember..

Ive started to feel more like myself again now, thankfully (thats my fellas words) hehe

Im still working round the clock but the finsihing post is finally in sight now so perhaps we can get back into our salsa now and start to enjoy a few of those parties !! lol

Im heading for paris this weekend at some point only for a day or so, so its a week to look forward to... its salsa tonight at the staithe so im grabbing a dress and boots and going to enjoy a vodka and dance with our friends....

You lot better watch out though ive been shut in all week with just a bucket of stress for company and boy do i need to let off some steam.............................lol

Dont say i didnt warn you all.....................lol

Update

Grandad went into theatre this morning at 9am and 4 hours later is now in intensive care, he got through that part thankfully, so we are all hoping he carries on fighting now and can only sit and wait...

Hes always been my rock so whatever the outcome, what those guys did this morning in that theatre I am truly thankful for, they have given him the chance now...

My mum is flying home monday so im going to pick her up and hope we have good news for her to come home to...
