Blonde or Brunette ?

What a week, its been manic...........

Im spring cleaning out my house out with everything that doesnt move, so every day im taking on another room...I teamed up withs Sandra and took a day off from my normal work so i could really get to grips with it...ooops i got 4 bin bags of clothes toys and things she had collected its now ready for painting and clear.. it looks & feels so much better...

Tuesday night was belly dancing and salsa, it was one of the best nights weve had although its also getting harder, the spins are now turning into elabrote ones and i cant practise at class with my fella..lol we argue ! ..lol we never argue normally, but as soon as we dance together at salsa classes i either get told to bugger off and dance with someone else, last week its because im ahead of him and he cant keep up (thats not really true as he is doing an extra 2 hour class every saturday without me, and is getting good) i take little steps and my fella takes big ones so when it comes to turns it gets complicated, we were doing an interlocked one where i go under then he does its supposed to be done very fast but together we cant quite seem to fit !! hehe

He palmed me off with someone else and i did pick it up, the same happened to my fella with another girl, they got it straight away....lol when we practise at home it works without argument and we have a right giggle, mind you im wearing short skirts and no underwear so it makes him want to get those turns right...lol

So we are spillting up at classes now and just practising together in private, it works much better and we should eventually end up being able to dance together when we know what we are doing a bit better...........

Anyway dayle came up last night to see us after work, it was a nice surprise as we didnt expect it so it made for another good night...

Hes been cutting everyones hair here, Ryan looks terrific and has been complimented all day at school by the girls, all wanting to stroke him(im not saying anything here)lol im just glad hes happy at school full stop, no doubt i will have worse to come...lol

But he also got his scissors out on me last night too and my fella loves it, i havent lost any length as im growing it, but hes given me probably the best hair cut ive ever had.............

But it started me and my partner off in a conversation which is where i need your help please...

I want to try something a bit different and change

......... from a blonde to a brunette....................

Ive done my blondes have more fun bit so id love to prove thats theres no difference, its not about the hair colouring its about what lifes inside a person, and seems springs coming and i intend doing all sorts of non blogable things in those woods, i really feel like a change.......

My fellas all up for it and is encouraging it........so

Do I ............ dont I ?............... please help.........lol

I have been a blonde since meeting my partner, but was dark when i was younger, so its 15 years getting away with making the excuse of being blonde and i think now time for me to have a change.......

The photo of Jessica above is the colour i would be going, (if i go through with this), Dayles booked me in his posh place to do the change but now i need you guys to help me out and tell me what you think....

Spiritual Lifts

Its Saturday...................yes that means i have a smile embedded on my face, ive been riding...

I got there today and Sarah told me she had changed my horse, another girl had to ride Sorrel so i was put back on the white horse Shadow...yes !

I was a bit nervous at first, as i started out on her but never got to canter or rise & trott on her, as she was too powerful for a beginner , so today was a great challenge....

I didnt realise when i first started the diferences in the power these horses have, but Shadow is an ex showjumper and fantastic to ride, amazingly powerful, so my arms are shaking as i had to keep the reins short and tight, she was a completely different ride very fast, smooth and responsive..

Ive come home in a hyper ... i havent stopped talking since i got back and am completely on a high now for the day, i wanted to ride like the wind and this horse can certainly do that..

6 months ago i couldnt ride, and was taking my daughter for lessons sitting there watching, it was one of the best decisions ive ever made signing up, ive never felt so happy challenged or determined as i am when im there, whatevers in my mind gets left behind, that feeling of being free and wanting to ride like the wind just takes over and im away...

The girls at the stables have turned from instructors into our friends, and saturdays are definately the best days of the week .....

There must me so many things we want to try in life but never do, we either worry about our age or how we may look to others, when i first started riding i was on a lunge rope for 2 weeks in a class full of kids that made me look silly, as they were flying round there without fear, as adults we fear far too much, what we look like to others usually being top of the list.. we shouldnt..

If i had of cared about that side i would never have learnt to ride, even my fella was laughing at me bumping up and down on that saddle completely making an arse of myself for a few weeks..

Its when we dont take ourselves too seriously that you find the fun, age doesnt take away the spirit, you just kill of that fun spirit by not being able to laugh at yourself first...

Ive met all different types of people on my journey so far, but the best people and ones we will remember were always the ones that have a sense of fun...

So if you make any resolutions this year, make that one of them... make a list of stuff youve always wanted to do (and never did) shut your eyes and stick a pin in.. you'll understand then where im coming from today.......... lifes too short, to worry about big houses, status or what we look like, its for experiencing and creating those moments, time can never take away....

Helping hands

Lol...its been quite a start to the week for me...

Its been really busy at work so I'm very pleased although the idea of any help is out of the question after today...

(my fella offered to come and help out !) bless

The day started with getting in his car and it wouldn't start (flat battery) so i got my car out and jump started him... then we started off driving up the road and we got a puncture.... he really wasn't supposed to be working with me today..... ive gathered that now.............

we came home got my car out and set off, i am normally there at 8 today i finally arrive at 10... the phone is going mad with people trying to order and im still trying to print out the weekends orders and take them off my beloved stock sheet...... so i took the orders and prayed i had everything in stock... i was lucky and my stock sheet did me proud... this was the way i always like to work so i know exactly what i have in store... organised yes ! lol

The 5th call of the morning was that bloody pervert guy (sniffer) he called last week too (this guy doesn't give up) so i told him i was uip to my neck in orders and asked him to look through the website and that way he can see what they look like (without me having to describe what i look like in them) by this time im getting annoyed as i have a lot to do and am trying to get the first post out by 12.... half an hour later he calls again ...

So i passed his call across to my co worker again (yes Steve) and told him to deal with him......lolol

That's not the best bit.........this guys not fussy he wanted my fella to describe the items to him and didn't mind as long as someone would talk to him..............my fellas face was a picture !! by this time im under the desk in hysterics.. getting frowned at!! and he slams down the phone on him.. apparently he could hear movement like how do i put this cleanly... the guy was enjoying himself wildly over the phone..(he does make quite a bit of noise we've listened and taped him on my mobile) lol so it wasn't the best start to me getting a helping hand today.......

Anyway i got through the day finished all the orders 280 have you got this in my size, emails, telephone sales and was feeling pretty happy with myself that i got through Monday (its always manic because of the weekend) i was trying to just send a chap some photos of as gown he wants for his wife's present , and then could finally go home, so i asked my fella if hre could kindly put the parcels in the car ready ,but as i turned hes slamming down my laptop lid and pulling out my stock sheet wires .....................oh no....... and just caused me to have to work half the night going through all today's orders and taking everything out again................ i could cry......

were not talking about a few orders today, there was a lot... he didn't save the stock sheet changes so the day of stocktaking nearly went up the wall ...lol

I'm so glad I'm not completely blonde and did print out 2 copies of everything (for my accounts) but thankfully tonight at least i can put right the help i had today..............hehe

We were driving home and he just sat there smirking, i think he knows what hes done, ive worked all weekend to get ahead and wanted a bath and a hot meal tonight, instead its a sandwich and a laptop ....

He did manage to get me some car insurance, and that's what hes been doing all day while i ran 2 shops packed and pulled my hair out with telephone calls to people all day.........bless

When my boy asked what dads been doing today, he sat there thinking first then came out with .....

Dizzy Blonde

Its day one of running the business on my own so i know ill have to make the most of my time out as theres going to a be a lot to do my end, but im not going to let it get to me...

My fellas bought himself a bike today (hehe) so ive got to drop him off in a moment so he can bike it back, i really want to grab the camera and ride behind him (just for the hell of it) but as its cruel i wont do to him what he did to me with riding.......lol


Not much happening this weekend sadly, but im not worried, im still not feeling so lively and just cant seem to get enough sleep this week, so its early nights and jos music this weekend, sometimes its the little things that give the most enjoyment, and ive been neglecting my music blog (which im finding i need more than ever now) so im downloading some music putting my headset on and enjoying those tracks....



Its been such a great morning, riding again, its definitely the best time of my week, im jumping now every lesson and today i got up to waist height (im so pleased) every time i cleared the jump the next one got higher, they do look so much more bigger though sitting on the horse.. lol

I know you cant see my face properly but take my word for it.. im smiling my head off... but ill post the proper ones nexy week, including the devils horns one !



I cant post my proper riding photos til next week as the guys still doing them, but ive got the sample thumbnails (hense the photos so bad, i had to scan a thumbnail) lol, but they will be worth the wait, my little girl looks amazing, im so proud.. she does get one thing from me.. her zest for feeling that wind blow through her hair... .... and is gaining confidence by the day now...


we come home singing our heads off .. much to the guys in the white cars enjoyment.. lol we got a round of applause today at the traffic lights.... so i sheepishly turned my head and put my foot down.. talk about embarrassed.. i must remember to shut up when i get to traffic lights ..

Ive now got free riding lessons for 6 months twice a week.......... lol
I swapped a whole new wardrobe for Sarah and Nikita at the stables for guaranteed Jos time out for 6 whole months.... so nothing will stop me now.. I simply HAVE to go.... or id be wasting money...hehe

Makeover

Ive decided that as the seasons are all changing, its time i had one too....lol

So ive had a good think about what id like to do and decided its time for me to spend a little time on myself.. starting with my unruly hair..............

Don't get worried here Steve, im not cutting it, just making it a bit more wind friendly..lol

I want to get it spiralled... its now long enough, and after spending hours trying to scrunch my straight hair into anything resembling a curl is hard work ! i hate gunk and sprays and if i saw a hairspray can id run a mile .

So i need a look that looks like ive just got out of bed with style ..lol

That way when i do wake with those birds i wont have to worry about hairdryers or curl sprays just enjoy my day and not spend time fighting with a hairdryer ...lol

Talking to my fella tonight i agree, when women get to a certain age they do mostly go for short back and sides, probably as we have spent years trying to style it and get fed up with trying so go for the easy maintenance option...... but apart from my fella leaving me if i got out those scissors, i actually really want to keep growing mine, i just need a style that's easy to put up when i need it out of the way, and wear loosely down , for when i get on that horse.....lol

Im having a mini break this weekend and heading off to London with my fella but as soon as i get back im booking in to my much neglected hairdresser and getting it done....

Blonde roadsigns

Ive just been to my weekly horse riding lesson so thought id give you all a giggle...by telling you about my morning....

I had a map all ready decided i really did know the way so off i set, i left at 11.20 for a lesson that started at 12.30 so you would have though i would have easily made it on time wouldn't you...lol ...nope not me !

It went ok i went through the city fine all the roundabouts fine til im on a straight road ? thats where i went decidedly wrong.. i missed my turning..oops

My mobile is a pain the battery only lasts about 30 Min's so I'm doing 70 up a duel carriage way trying to ring home, my fellas NOT impressed with me at all today...oops again

There i was sobbing my head off telling him I'm lost again and him trying to ask where i was so he could help... i didn't know (if i knew where i was i wouldn't be lost now would i ! lol) so i kept driving...lol

eventually i found a turn off stopped the car and tried to remember how many bridges id been under so he could work out where i was, with some guy was shouting at me in the car behind ...oops oops again

with my daughter shouting you'll be late mum if you don't hurry up... lol

We eventually got directions with my fella getting up a map on Google (thank you ) im not sure how he did it but he got me back on route and to my lesson 1 minute late, id been driving for well over an hour .....

the funny part was when i got there Shadow was waiting for me (yes the white horse that doesn't like rain wind or sunshine) and was riding her today... lol

As it turns out i was upset enough with my driving i got on the horse without being nervous today and did really well, we happily trotted round on my own with shadow responding perfectly to everything i asked of her (bless she has hayfever) the instructor says i should get lost every week as my riding was excellent, so alls well that ends well...

My sister was also there with my niece today and knows exactly how bad my sense of direction is and offered me a lift beforehand, but i wanted to try it on my own? lol

yes i know now i should have took the lift, ill probably do exactly the same thing next week and will eventually buy myself a satellite system that i keep saying i don't need and do......lol

I defiantly prefer driving to the beach ( i also know the way there)... lol

Do they make such a thing as road signs for blondes ......lol

so if you see me out and i offer you a lift....... Dont .. not if you actually want to get anywhere

.... unless you want to go to lost of course...lol
