Dancing in the Street

Omg Have I got a headache this morning ooops.....

Last night will be definitely be one for the armchair..what on earth did you put in that punch Richard? lol

We had such a fantastic night.. the photo was the start of the party, you really don't want to see the end of the night... But ive been told we will be in the website soon and on youtube as someone videoed the whole thing !

It started in the high street in Stalham, we went along to support Sharon and Richard as they were doing a taster session, showing the locals there that salsas coming to stalham next week...

We had only just got a drink (my 1st vodka) i hadnt even had a sip and on came our Rompe song (id know that intro anywhere)Rompe, Rompe, Rompe... after Thursday night (we had so much fun) Sharon standing there on the street beckoning me and Cheryl to join in........lol

I haven't had that much fun in years, we were lined up all shaking our booty and having a right giggle.. im not sure if it will put the locals off (we did only get to learn that the night before) but if they have a sense of fun then they really should come along to the new class.

The street dance was cut short as there was a heavy metal band playing ( i couldnt understand a word the guy was singing) i thought he was singing bow wow?tried to salsa to it (but failed dismally) so the group all got everything together and hit Sharon's for the party......

They had made such a huge effort,the punch was unbelievably Moorish (and very potent) the dancing was the best ive seen, and because i was rather tipsy i actually danced without worrying that i couldn't do the steps... it was probably the best ive danced too! so that proves it, i worry too much that i cant do stuff and should just enjoy trying to do more...

Ive drank my first mojito (they were wonderful so enjoyed a few) and really had such a brilliant time all thanks to them.....

We've met some wonderful people through dancing, I look so forward to my nights with them and cant wait for the next night out..

These guys are the nicest people you could ever meet, they must have feel shattered this morning too, how on earth they managed to arrange a party, provide us all with such a wonderful night and still do a street fair i don't know........ i take my hat off to these guys..

We danced rumba with Richard, lots more reggaeton and salsa'ed the night away (cuban style)til the early hours...

I spoke to our friends last night too, or rather i was singing down the phone while dancing Rompe round Sharon's garden, (Cant wait to see you guys, ill give you a ring later today x) sorry about my singing....oops

I do have rather a hangover (ill admit) so im now going to grab myself a bath, cook one of that terrible fried things that resembles breakfast and try to move without my head still thinking its behind me....

We had a brilliant night, loved the company and had such a great night..

Lol........ Im smiling wickedly this morning, not only have i got a lovely peaceful day in front of me without kids at my unit (my fellas sitting) i just had an email thats made my day........

Are you reading this Cheryl (i do hope so) Brett just emailed me, i sent him a request on facebook to see if he'll have a dance with me and hes said yes!!

Lol.. this guy is amazing the best cross body (the couple dance together close) dancer any of us have seen so every week i sit there watching him wishful thinking.. so i bit the bullet and asked him (thats a first for me) hes really polite and has promised me several dances when we next meet up at our club.. My fella keeps asking me to ask the guy and i chicken out so this morning im really pleased.. his response was " ive seen you dancing up there several times and wanted to ask you but you always seem to hide up whenever i come over !! " lol Do i really look that obvious....oops

Anyway ive promised not to hide anymore - its a date !

I said id start asking the guys didnt i cheryl (i just didnt say how) hehehehe

Lol.... Bloody men, hes had me dancing all night to Ricky Martins 'Livin la vida loca' (yes i do live the mad life!) and promised me if i worked to help him he would dance to obsession with me at the end of the night...

Ive been thrown about, spun til my heads dizzy and burst out laughing when he decides to add a dip on the end of it ! that felt bizare..........................im not trusting no guy to catch me backwards !! oh no ... lol

Anyway im sweating hot, need a shower so i grab a cold drink and put on my sexy record... he does 3 steps says " i dont like that one" and puts back on Ricky Martin..................haha I thought it was women that are usually the "dont like that ! " lol

'That grin' says i wont win tonight so im down for one more loco dance with Mr Travolta then going to bed..

Cuban Salsa Nights

Its been a brilliant night. Me and Cheryl went along again to Sharons Cuban styling class, what a blast. Shes such a good teacher and makes the night so much fun for us all, i really didnt want to come home tonight..lol


Richard bless is brave and had a dance with me, its the first guy thats danced with me who does cuban, i keep learning the moves on my own as my partner is learning cross body style so i cant confuse him yet and ask him to learn the cuban, but thats the one ive always wanted to do (its the very sexy one) so many wiggles and being able to flirt as part of the dance is what its all about, so ive been going along to the body styling classes and hoping i may find the courage to dance cuban style.. Cheryls so good, so i tend to sit in an awkward place so shes nearest to the dancefloor so i can watch..lol Richard is Sharons husband and is such a gentleman, he helps the class so much as he will show us how our moves fit it, so all i need now is to practice and stop hiding up !

Tonight we did hips... (hips dont lie according to shakira) i think we were all glad that place doesnt have low windows... hehe (although Richard brought his camera) so you can see us all grinning on the website... You are asking your hips to have a mind of their own (it feels really sexy to do to) so come along and see how much fun dancing can really be......

Theres one dance i cant wait for its called Reggaeton, we are doing that next week - so i am going to drink as much red bull and vodka as i can before i go hehe (only joking Sharon, im bad enough now) its highly energetic, sexy as hell and one id love to have a go at secretly. especially with friends in a club and a bottle of vodka... lol

You wont meet nicer people, their dancing is the best ive seen, and they are two of the friendliest people im lucky enough to know..

We learnt the bacharta tonight , so ive put in a bacharta song above - they always play the song at the clubs and its a lovely one to grab a guy to (except i havent managed to yet..lol) i know how to do it just darent ask anyone and my fellas always off dancing with everyone else .. hehe (mr travolta in cuban heels now)lol

Ive managed to get Cheryl to come along to their new class thats starts in Stalham (Sutton Staithe hotel on the 5th june 8-9pm) and im trying to persuade my fella to come along too ! so ill go put a dress on tonight, show him what Sharons taught me tonight and hope it does the trick.. (if not then im not wiggling properly !) or hes working again and doesnt even notice im there...lol

Going to these lessons is better than going toany club, everyones so friendly and nice its such a great atmosphere and is opening up a whole new world to us............

Week ends

Its been a nutty week again !! ive just about got through at work, ive been trying to get myself organised which for me is impossible... hehe I ran from the packing room to answer the phone (which is miles away) and ran straight into the corner of the desk..ouch! so i am now brusised battered and seriously sore just about everywhere, the good side is im lovin the dancing and really cant wait to get there... Riding is still the highlight of my week thoughm i cant sleep when i get home as i dont shut up long enough to close my eyes (well thats what my fella says) :(

Salsa was brilliant friday night Cheryl and the group were all having a real go at shining, its such a great atmosphere there, by the end of the night all the women were lining up dancing to a track laughing our heads off, ive been trying to find it on youtube but its spanish and i cant read who it is that sings it ! so if anyone can help out its called sexy (sensual) and its a beyonce wiggle kind of dance , id love to download it so if anyone knows it please help... I need to practise that one its great fun for the club...lol

Saturday was lovely as its the first saturday i haven't had to get up at silly'o'clock, instead we just chilled all day with the kids and even managed a cooked breakfast, its amazing as a few months ago i wasnt going out much, now we seem to have so much going on its the total reverse, im now looking forward to my nights in

Today we were going to the football ground for a concert, there was a mix of artists there starting with Killer Queen (they were great) i went to see Ben (from the x factor) mmmm but Jamelia ,Ray and Rhydian were also playing, it was also a presentation of some of the greatest players (ever) from the NCFC. I got to see Hucks get his award and really enjoyed the day...

Anyway i hope next week will be a little more calmer and you all have a great week, im riding tomorrow night again late so will be starting my week on a high... Lets hope the temperature will be that way too.... Bring on that sunshine.... it makes everyone feel happy....

Life begins

lol.................. Oh my god ive reached the milestone.... im 40 at last ! lol

Its been a manic week, but ive really enjoyed it..

The week started as nuts as usual, i somehow managed to slot in all the stuff i had planned last week but by the end of last week i was pretty tired, things happened that i didnt expect, so it made me feel a bit down in myself, Friday for me was a hard one, im back to working by myself again, both running the home and office so im trying to kick my bum into gear and slowly get myself back into the swing of things. its so easy to turn lazy, i had forgotten how much i really had to do before, so after my reality check ive knuckled down am firing on all cylinders and really pushing myself..

I seem to constantly ache from riding, salsa and belly dancing lol its a joke here now, i dont seem to get any days off in between, but the soreness is changing into toned muscles (clean minds needed here) please..........lol

This week was my birthday (as if you hadnt of guessed) lol i had people try and arrange all sorts of things for me, and some wonderful offers, but i just wanted a quiet day (in my life its a rarety) I worked most of the day on my own, but got loads done, my friend came up in the afternoon with a card so it made for a really peaceful day (my fella was out all day so i could sing my head off) i did have a wish to ride a horse up a beach... its still on my list, but what i did do more than made me happy....... and it was pretty near to it.. I went out the night before and rode a big black horse half the night through the fields, no alcohol, no fuss, just me, a warm night, and plenty of birds singing while i rode along on a big beautiful horse, who didnt seem to mind me talking away and singing to him, it was a beautiful warm night and although simple to most people, mother nature and her gift really did make my birthday one to remember ..

No rest im wicked !

Is it Wednesday already..lol

Today i was on Solomen again, learning to use my legs to turn him, i learnt alot today. Stell told me i am going to hurt tomorrow as it was all legwork again, but essential as i wasnt shown this at my other stable and need to know, we had a few birds in there watching today too with Stell, ive just got to try and persuade her now to come with me....

I had a different instructor today, she was lovely too so the lesson was really enjoyable..

As from next week the one to one lessons stop and im in with the group, the best bit is im riding at night on a monday now and can now go on hacks !! yes.......

I dont have to leave work early anymore, im riding at 8.00 at night just when the birds are all in full song and the dusk is setting in, to me its a gift and i cant wait to meet the group im riding with, Kevin says ill fit in perfectly as they are all mad ! so im rather looking forward to meeting them ..

The best bit is i now get full hour lessons for half the price i was paying for one 2 one.. lol

That means i can have twice as many now........ god im gonna have a sore bum next week..

Mondays riding, tuesdays salsa and belly dancing (its also my big 40 birthday), wed is family night, Thursdays im strutting it cuban style with Cheryl and sharon while my partner thankfully entertains the kids and friday we're meeting up with our friends to hit the theatre, then a pole... lol saturdays dancing for both of us ...so sunday ill be sitting somewhere nice and quiet getting my breath back in a heap.... hopefully if the weathers still good... on the beach....lol
