Prayers

I dont know what to do with myself tonight,when loved ones are very ill its so hard to deal with it..

My grandparents mean the world to me, they have supported me, brought me bits of shopping up every week and always been the strength in our family..

My sister just phoned from the hospital tonight in tears, grandad had his scan today as he was rushed into hospital a few days ago in tremendous pain and im afraid its very bad news tonight.

His main artery leading from his heart has an aneurysm in it, the scans showed up its the size of a small grapefruit 4 inches wide and could burst at any moment, the operation is scheduled for very early in the morning but if the situation gets worse they are going to have to risk the operation tonight, the hospital gave him some food at tea time as he has been so sick and lost so much weight they thought it would help build his strength as they hadnt had the results back from todays scan they thought it wasnt urgent and didnt know what was wrong..

The results were rushed through but did take longer than expected , if they had the results an hour earlier they could have taken him straight down to operate there and then.......

My nanny doesn't know the chances of his survival yet, we do.. my sisters now breaking the news to her tonight, all i can imagine is how lost she will feel if he doesn't pull through, they have been married for over 60 years.... the operation is a huge one and hes so weak at the moment the Dr's don't know if he will pull through... It brought back memories tonight when we were given 10% chances of survival of our triplets, they had to fight all the way but they got through one by one, the fact that their great grandad has been part of their life is one of the blessings i am also very thankful for, so tonight im in tears praying he isnt ready to leave us yet...

Mum is ringing me from Tobago tonight in floods of tears, we are trying to get her on the next flight home, but all she keeps saying is she just wants to see her dad alive and give him a hug, and nothing anyone can do tonight can help there, the flight sundays full so mondays the earliest she can come back......... shes so distraught and i don't know what to say to her to help...

All we can hope for is he lasts the night tonight and is given the chance tomorrow to fight for his life.. he wont leave my nanny without a fight, that i am sure of....

So if you're saying a prayer tonight...

Please say one for him ...........

Dressing up

Hi everyone! My god the weeks flew by again..

I missed my salsa this week which wasn't so good as i went down with a dreaded bad head again but I'm determined to get on top of this work so ill free myself up by Tuesday...

Its not been the quietest week, its the dreaded half term, where us mums have to juggle keeping the kids entertained as well as carry on working, and to be honest the workload hasn't been an easy one, every spare minute Ive had I'm either listing making slashed dresses or hoovering up ! lol

My grandparents are both very poorly at the moment so I'm going to help out next week and redecorate their lounge (grandad pulled off the paper and filled all the holes up) then got ill so its not making them feel so good..

I love decorating so my fellas having the kids for me so i can go and make it look nice, my fella keeps giggling saying I'm multi talented.. lol

I don't agree with him that way, its just I'll have a go at anything so its all been good experience's for me, the more i try the more ill get good at....... hopefully....lol

I am a qualified hairdresser, lifeguard, and tailor and that's about the only things i can do well and enjoy doing..... except when i had the hump with my friend once! I was so annoyed at him when he came round for his hair cut i cut it wonky in a girls style on purpose at the back so he couldn't see what id done, he went down to his local like it.........hehe
god he was angry he had to shave it all off... lol

This week it was Halloween so ive decided it was going to be a good one, every year I'm either not here or working and id promised the kids this year would be different so i kept my promise..

They all had their friends round, i made costumes for them and painted every ones faces, they looked brilliant !i did make the mistake of buying these stupid bags though that give out a spooky laugh every time you open them ! big mistake after an hour i squirted each one with water to shut them up and told the kids the batteries were worn out.........hehe what! they didn't know any difference and 8 of them round my kitchen wasn't good !

I got into the spirit this year too painted my face bright green (with a few cobwebs and spiders thrown in) and had the most amazing black and green wig (which my fella hated) i know now not to go darker, id be dumped in an instance...hehe

I was thoroughly enjoying turning out the hall lights and scaring the kids when they knocked for trick or treat ! they were all giggling and telling others to knock here ( i did buy lots of treats for them) but decided they were going to have to work for them..lol it kinda backfired on me though as when the door went again out i jumped with a hairy hand first and green face, only to see this poor little kid running out of my garden to her mum.........ooops i had to go after her an apologise her mum thought it was hilarious but i did feel bad, i wouldn't let my kids trick or treat unless they were in a group so was surprised she was on her own (i wouldnt have done that bless if i had known) so Ive told her mum next year to drop her at mine so she can go along with our lot, she only lives round the corner and i think i must have given the poor mite nightmares.. I felt so bad...

My fella is being so good to me this week, we've both got lots to do, but hes been cooking night times and buying me flowers! and although we've been a bit like ships in the night lately, once im up to date I'm taking him somewhere nice for the weekend so we can just enjoy some time together, without the work or kids..I'm locking his laptop away... but you cant get a good connection easy in a tent anyway !! lol ...

I know sometimes its not so easy to be modern day parents, but that's how the world seems to work now, if you've got 4 kids its expensive, my lot are really good and don't expect anything they see on the TV, but what i hope to bring them this year isn't something you can buy... sometimes by keeping it real you can create the best memories...

I hope in the next couple of days i can get on top of all this work so next week i can relax a bit more, i want my dancing back badly now,I know Ive only missed a week but the weeks not complete now without it..I really missed you lot.. and my 'hips dont lie track'

I'm on a mission to make this year a better one, I'm prepared to work my bum off to have a break of some kind, our friends have arrived safely in Thailand so although i couldnt go for that length of time a week or two would be wonderful..

I was even thinking of proposing to my fella just so i can get away for a week ! so someone would hopefully step in from my family and help out a bit here..lol
Ive got more chance of winning the lottery i think.......lol

Nah! I like living in sin best anyway...it keeps him on his twinkle toes..lol

I don't know how he puts up with me and my sick sense of humour sometimes....

But he does.......

Anyway im shocked at what happened in X Factor ! I cant believe the public put those guys in the bottom 2 !! I love the 5 girls and so wont vote this year as i believe they are all stars..

I was sad Austin went as he had such a good voice.. what is that other guy still doing in there? i cant even remember his name today...he can sing but he definately hasnt got the x factor, more like the 'S' vote...

I love Ruth as shes just so sexy and definately has the sex factor (sorry i meant X) the way she sang 'Purple Rain' gave me goosebumps ! I think shes so passionate, and i love the fact simons hooked too!! hehe

Alexander ' as shes so brilliantly tallented and a great performer as well as singer, shes totally amazing so one of my favourites

Diane - as shes totally unique in her voice and has such a brilliant sense for fashion( shes todays 60s boho chick) And i totally love her style.. I think todays girls will follow this girls dress sense.

Laura as she has such a powerful voice... my hairs stand up on my arms when she sings

And Rachael , although she comes across as cocky sometimes , im wondering its her way of hiding the real her.. im still not sure about her yet,but she has a very powerful great voice , i think they've made her look so hard though...

Anyway saturday nights now are booked (im not going anywhere ) as im hooked ! lol

It makes me giggle as when the programme finishes my lot all start to sing...... lauren believes shes the next celine dion..lol perhaps she is.. who knows what tomorrow may bring eh..

Some peoples dreams actually do come true...

I think thats what drives us all sometimes.........

Cuban Beats (Dance cuban salsa nights)

Wow what a brilliant night we all had last night...

It was Thursday night so that means Cuban salsa at the Staithe again..

I have really missed it, last week we couldn't sadly have the room so this week everyone couldn't wait to get there.. including me !

We weren't disappointed, it was a really special very unique night..

The classes started off as normal with Sharon raising the temperatures with her warm up, im sure i could hear creaking coming from my fellas arms though ..lol

They had already told the group we were going to have a special guest there and boy wasn't he special.. Thank you so much Jose..

Out came loads of assorted drums and various musical instruments as we all joined in to have our first taste of just how infectious that Cuban beat is... it was brilliant..

I wasn't as bad on the drums as i thought i would be, once that bolero beat was in there it couldn't help but come out ,one by one we all joined in with our offering and created a symphony of Cuban beats so strong, I'm surprised you couldn't hear us in Norwich....hehe

I got totally lost in the music , my head and shoulders were swaying like the sea..lol

Our special guests were non other than Jose and Alex from the band Guateque... Jose was incredible and so passionate about his music.... anyone that didn't have a drum or instrument was up on their feet and dancing, it was an experience ill never forget and one of those nights to always remember...

The group there is one of the best classes Ive known, Sharon and Richard are two of the nicest guys you will ever meet (let alone amazing dancers) and what they brought to Stalham last night was a true taste of Cuba and the roots to why we were all there wanting to learn....

Its showed us all that salsa isn't just about the dancing, every dance has a story and roots behind it, so when you dance you know its history of how that dance started, it puts more passion into your dancing, as you know and feel that you really mean what you are doing (a very sexy history lesson on a dance floor)... lol

If anyone has thought about learning salsa, then why not come along, you don't need a partner (you can borrow mine for a vodka ! lol) we are such a friendly group. There is always someone happy to dance with you... from basic to advanced you cant help but take something new home with you every week... these classes really will make everyone happy.. I am totally..

Last night i brought home more than just dance steps.. I brought home a head full of bolero rhythms Rumba and clave...and memories of a great group of people that all came together to make Stalham the place to be......... There is a heart in everything and everyone..

And Stalhams heart last night must have been heard for miles..........

What A Week

Its been a really good week, so appologies for not posting, we have been busy enjoying ourselves..lol

Last week as normal it was riding monday, which was great but very testing on my legs and stamina...

The rest of the week was a blur of work and trying to get myself organised, i went up to see my friends thursday night to pick up some dresses and ended up in a jacuzzi, which made me giggle as i overslept the next morning and was very late in to work..ah well its not everyday you get to spend some unplanned time out and it was such a lovely evening, we had a full moon and a sky full of stars watching us and i must admit its the most relaxed ive felt in a long time, it was beautiful.......

Saturday we went back up this time though we didnt have to drive so my fella was able to have a drink too, ive drunk more vodka and brandy this week than i have the rest of the year..lol

It started off at a local pub watching a live band (and trying out some salsa moves) and ended up with me shutting 2 poor girls in a boot of the bands car (they fancied the driver so a good way of getting a lift i thought!)oops ...lol

The whole night was such a giggle, the music was great and the company even better.. we didnt get much sleep so i spent the whole of sunday asleep and missed the day..... but its been making me giggle all day when i keep getting flashbacks......lol

I even tried to talk some poor fella into letting me be ET for an evening and sit in the basket of his mobility scooter, which thankfully he declined (as i had a fella with me...hehe) he must be pretty flexable to be able to get up to anything in a shopping basket, i wasnt expecting that one...

Anyway our friend wrote about our antics before i got the chance to thankfully and it made me laugh that much today i nearly wet myself reading it so thought all you guys should have a giggle and read it.........................................ENJOY.........................................

Public Transport

Whatto! Weary travellers............

I have often found that public transport generally is in quite a poor state...........

Several people who I have spoken to say that they are unhappy with the general service and reliability...........Luckily we have a personal chauffeur so I don't find that I'm directly effected.........but I experienced it first hand on Saturday night and it was nothing short of.......HORRIFIC!!..........

We went to the pub to watch some live music and enjoyed the general ambience and atmosphere as vintage wine and vodka flowed freely.............

Everyone was in high spirits and the general mood was spectacularly good!...........

Eventually the band finished their set for the night............. and everyone began to consider making their respective ways home.............It was then............. that the QUANDRY FACED US!!......... And I began to ask the vital question "What choice is there for people?") at that hour of the night?) who live in a little village miles fom anywhere?

I watched in utter amazement as (before my very eyes) people improvised their transport measures!!.............

Some crammed into the boot of a taxi (I'm not sure if they get reduced fares for the inconvenience of having to travel lying down).............

And although they all took it in very good spirits............... the final result looked more like and exodus from a disaster zone than what honest decent people should be entitled to expect in this day and age!!

Others took turns with a mobility vehicle......... .

......until the batteries were finally worn out!...........

Some chose to put their transportation worries to one side for a while.........and simply

DANCE their way home!!!......

Others just began the long, desperate and exhausting CRAWL home on their hands and knees............. Ouch!!!...........

Some simply claimed 'Squatters Rights' for themselves and made a comfortable place on the patio for the night!!

So PLEASE!!!..........Write to YOUR MP demanding improved public transport for villages NOW!

Good morning everyone, im feeling on top of the world today..

Ive just had the most amusing breakfast consisting of a can of Guinness, a grapefuit and now i have to eat a boiled egg !! lol Well its all packed with iron and i needed extra energy so what the hell..lol

Wasnt last nights class such a blast, im so glad i went, i had to eat a whole loaf to get there but it was worth it, i wouldnt have missed that bachata for anything, did you all notice i avoided my fella though..

lol ...its not his favourite but i know if he was partnerning one of you lovely ladies he wouldnt moan, and it worked..................lol i think he actually really enjoyed it at the finish, he has said he will do it again.. yesssssssssss

Im having a good morning today i overslept, which was lovely ill admit, my alarm was set for 5am so i roll out past 8 to the kids horror, lol thats the quickest ive ever seen them move to get ready for school too, perhaps i should lie in more often, they didnt have time to argue ! hehe

Im still giggling about what my fella came out with last night ! hes slowing coming out of that shell, so appologies to making you blush Penny..lol my god it was funny though, how the hell he keeps going like that after being up 2 nights on the trott i honestly dont know, but his sense of humour really was in full swing last night, so it was a really good night.

I come home so wrapped up in the music i cant sleep, i end up eating peanut butter and drinking tea half the night talking about what a great night that was..lol

Today im cooking something nice, not sure whats on the menu yet, but im having a want to cook week so my fellas making the most of it and has left me to it, and as the musics so good this morning too i think today will be a good day..

The suns out, the wind is blowing the dead leaves away from my door for a change (into next doors garden hehe) so im gonna turn that music up and enjoy whatever the day brings..

Its nearly the weekend !!

Time to Unwind

Its been a strange couple of days, last night was brilliant but very tiring It was riding again and after last week which was without doubt the hardest lesson ive ever had, i was a bit aprehensive about what to expect..lol

I was given a horse last monday who was a total nightmare, theres a girl in our class Becky whos lovely but who is a very gentle spirit and the school had marked her down to ride this horse..

She wasnt happy and was really un-nerved she prefers the smaller horses so i offered to ride him and let her have the smaller one that i was earmarked for, she was really relieved and im glad i offered to swap, he was so badly behaved..lol

He gave me such a run for my money it was untrue and simply wouldnt do anything , except try to buck me off, looking back tonight it is funny, i wasnt allowed to let him beat me and give him control but my legs had literally gone, id got to the point for the 1st time riding where i couldnt do anymore, id kicked til i couldnt kick anymore, he is a huge horse and im definiately a lighweight.. lol

I didnt quit but i really didnt want to ride him last night, Im not back to strength yet after last weeks mirgaine but the teacher thankfully gave me jack last night who i totally love to bits, I got to lead the lesson and do things i havent done before so was really pleased, i am getting so excited about the jumping now i only have 2 more mondays then i get to jump again.....lol

Today ive had my sister up the unit working with my fella shes a top saleswoman so is now backing my fella and getting orders in for his web projects, theres so much going on now, I cant keep up with him sometimes, hes definiately not a quitter ive never met anyone who works harder..

Tonight I was supposed to go to belly dancing and meet my fella for salsa afterwards, but we both sat here tonight with the same thing in our heads... (no not that)...lol

I am having problems staying awake again and blaming my anemia but im struggling to find any energy tonight... My fellas sat up again all night last night working... so instead of getting our dance shoes on we're going to bed...........lol

It doesnt happen often, lately my fella hasnt even made it upstairs, but hes not arguing tonight when i said nothing sounds better to me than a bath full of bubbles, a nice glass of brandy and blissful sleep.........lol

Tomorrow i may find some spring back in my stride then............lol

Walkers Crisps

Its Monday, oh yes but its not the usual madness, so that makes a refreshing change..

I started the day very early thankfully as i managed to get to bed early last night.. I was so tired yesterday i was totally useless... so i caught up on the emails and printed everything out ready this morning so i would hopefully be organised and its worked, Ive done it.. I'm so pleased

The house looks like a bombs hit it again but i had to leave it this morning as i wanted to get done and get home, so to be home by 1pm is brilliant for me , ive left my fella in my sisters capable hands and am going to do all those little jobs i meant to all weekend (oh and blog) hehe

The weekend was a real good one and has given me many giggles at odd times, but i did something over the weekend that i wouldn't normally do I complained !!lol

That's right, for some strange reason i decided i would give Walkers Crisps a bad day, it isn't like me but i was so annoyed I went ahead , took all the jibes by my fella about me and a bag of crisps and wrote an email..

Its started off when i sent the kids to the shop for a multi pack as I was making them sandwiches for lunch, nothing annoying there you say, until i opened the pack....

Why do they have such a big bag saying multi pack x 6 ready salted when theres literally 6 crisps in total in the bag, surely the idea of buying 6 of anything suggests you get a small discount for buying the 6, if someone bought 6 of my tops i would do that.. no not walkers they are too big to give a hoot.. instead one by one i opened the packs to discover all 6 packs that were inside the multi pack didn't fill up one of the packets.. what a rip off !! honestly they say about the world needing to be more greener and concerned with all today's un necessary packaging, well go and get a bag of walkers crisps and you'll see why, most kids i know all eat crisps and id hate to think how much packaging goes into the ground by them alone, is badness, you cant see through it, its bag after bag for what a slither of a potato that they triumphantly claim are grown in Britain... cheek ! if they cut the packs smaller you would only use 1rd of the packaging, but they wont do that as we would see how small the contents were and wouldn't buy them..........

So off it all started.. my fella could see i was annoyed so happily enjoyed winding me up to the point i wanted to email the crisp company..oops I wrote out exactly what i thought of their packaging and contents to then discover i couldn't send the email as their dodgy website forgot to add in the section (in the complaints part only!) where to put your email address and it wouldn't submit it until they had my email, by this time the air was blue and i was determined that i would speak to someone, so one by one i emailed every email i could find at walkers the words i wanted them to read, in no uncertain terms......lol

By this morning i hadn't thought much about it and had calmed down .. i was a little stressed i must admit, then this morning some really gentle, very nice lady phoned my mobile representing Walkers Crisps to talk to me....................(red faced now i humbly am) she was such a nice lady, i must have given her such a unsavoury morning, i don't ever usually complain, so to be faced with someone so polite trying to apologise for the lack of crisps in my bag made me feel terrible...

I know im not the type of girl that will make a fuss about anything, in fact everyone who knows me thinks im a mug !! hehe but i think id rather be a mug any day and be nice to people than vent my rudeness on someone like that again, all for a packet of crisps (after all i bought the bloody things as i like walkers best)

But after talking to her and apologising about a trillion times for my emailssssssssssssssssssss lol Walkers want to send me compensation and a supply of ready salted crisps to try and put the matter right,they wont sadly make the bags smaller and cut back on all the un necessary packing but they will fill my kids up with crisps to shut me up..lol

At the end of the call she took my address and thanked me for taking the time to tell them about my concerns and asked if i had any recommendations for new crisp flavours (as they are running a competition) so after several moments deep in thought i came out with yes ! humble pie might be nice........... lol

I think ill stop buying crisps for a while now and make my own............

Mojito Nights

Good morning..........hick ! Ive got a bit of a headache this morning Cheryl..lol

What a great night that was !!

It was the Cuban Salsa night at The Staithe... OMG what a blast..

I started the night wearing a dress..oh yes i did ! I just didn't finish the night wearing it..hehe

Sharon and Richard put on such a good night and wonderful Mojitos !! so after a few extra vodkas as i was wearing the dress me and Cheryl decided to go traditional Cuban and start on them, yum is about all i can say, don't they go down well..

I'm always the same in regards to needing to be comfortable, and although i had so many compliments last night about my dress (thanks guys) i just cant be myself in one, so off that came out came the jeans and my fun head (as Cheryl called it) lol

It was such a great atmosphere everyone was out to party, I got very brave (its the mojitos) so was wandering round asking all the guys to dance to Cheryls amusement, i had such a good night..

My fellas still soundo as i did go home and attack the peanut butter and kept him up til 4 telling him what a lubely night that was......lol

The music was all thanks to DJ shorty (why do they call her that, shes taller than me ! now im worried) she was totally amazing, none of us sat down the music was that contagious.. shes also the most amazing dancer ive seen and just glides ...

It was lovely to see Sharon ad Richard so happy and relaxed enjoying the mojitos too hehe ... everyone was so happy and it was all down to you guys.. so a huge thank you ...

I think the regaetton was the best we've done, by that point we had all drunk so much so were all going for it on that floor...lol yeah so for any of you that sat at home watching X factor you missed some serious booty shaking ...lol

I had my first dance with Max last night, for months ive wanted to dance with him and his 2 brothers they are all such a great bunch of people so when he actually came and asked me?? (was there any money changing hands there) i was rather drunk but so pleased and wasn't disappointed, he really is unbelievable, and i was too tipsy to be nervous so it worked !!

I grabbed Richard for Bachata and managed to stand on him again..oops but i hear that Havana rum is great for sore feet Richard....hehe

I managed a dance in the rain last night too ! it felt amazing , i went outside to cool down and it looked so beautiful off i went, you could hear the music and i think the mojitos had taken their toll .. it was amazing.. the whole night for me was magical.......hence the wet hair..lol

I did start taking photos but as the night unfolded i was enjoying myself too much to bother with the camera.. but what it has left me is a head full of happy thoughts an insatiable Cuban beat and one hell of a hangover this morning..

If that was a taste of Cuba.. then i want a plateful..lol

Morning Kiss

Im up and outside with the birds this morning, my god its a bit chilly out there, im going to have to start getting dressed in the mornings soon..lol

As usual ive been sitting in the garden with my headset, its the only time i get to myself in this house, and my favourite part of the day..

Today is going to be a busy one, its the day i cram in 2 days work so i can go to the stables tomorrow..lol I have to be back for the kids at 4 then take Lauren horseiding at 5 back home at 6 then off to Stalham at 7... its not boring thats for sure...

Im just trying to work out when im supposed to get ready, my fella goes to sleep if he takes Lauren and finds riding boring so i cant ask him on this one..hehe

I had to giggle this morning the kids caught me in full swing dancing outside.. i have a bad habit of that, im trying to sit quietly when my musics on, you know what its like you hear a song and off it goes, it started with my feet and i just couldnt help myself, my lot really should be used to me by now, but apparently mum is weird...lol whats wrong with getting up feeling a spring in your stride, I feel good today..

The kids have a cycling test today so that explains why theres bikes all round my lounge, they obviously didnt want cold seats ! lol

Right im gonna see how quick Santana can make me work today, I cant wait for salsa tonight...

Changes

I've finally started back my tuesday dance classes last night, I didnt realise how much id missed the guys there, it was a really good night...

Its usually theres not enough men so to have more guys than women was brilliant..

Derik started back to classes last week too so ive grabbed him for my partner, as my fella i dont normally get past 20 seconds with before they move us on..lol

The moves were really good weve learnt a few tricks to practise so im looking forward now to dragging the class up to stalham for richard and Sharons party, they have asked me to grab the tickets so like the salsa boat we know its going to be another of those dont miss nights..

Saturday Cheryl thankfully dragged me out of the house, to do a 3 hour intensive course, omg was i tired after that, it was really good though and ive been practising at home when nobodies about..lol

Its been a few weeks of non stop work and no fun, so this week we decided that had to change and although my fella looks ill to me, im going to make sure that laptops on a timer now...

If he wont cut down the work, ill just have to make sure he gets a better offer...hehe

where theres a will theres a way... dont they say

Funny that.... my will's finally rearing its head at last............lol

Ive got the feeling this week lots of new opportunities are on their way...

And this girl wants to make the most of everything again now...

Its been a funny couple of weeks, I havent for various reasons been blogging much or doing much good stuff, hopefully this week I will change that..its certainly off to a good start...lol

Today has been brilliant, I had such a good day at work, happily sailed through the packing and enjoyed my music, im always happy on Mondays its riding day !!

I have to say tonight was one of the best classes ive had to date, Kevin goes on holiday this week so is in really good spirits, he made us laugh that much the time simply flew....

I managed to walk my horse into a wall and nearly out of the car park, with the class all following unknowingly... lol(it was pitch black out there) but Kevin soon pointed out to everyone amusingly my sense of direction needs some work too..lol It really was great fun tonight..

We managed to make James blush as we all arrived early so started talking about the usual girly stuff (sex) and in he walks, this guy is such a gentleman and as ive found out tonight, totally charming.. he didnt walk off instead helped us girls understand guys a little more (if its possible to understand one at all) hehe

I was on Pip tonight so spent half the lesson holding him back, my god was he fast, its made my day ...Ive come home so full of beans tonight..lol

Tomorrow night belly dancing and salsa starts again for me, so by the end of the week i hope to be back to feeling good again..

Saturdays child

God its so peaceful here this morning, every ones still asleep so ive been singing my head off in the usual hope no one hears me manner..lol

Ive had a good couple of days im finally catching up on the things i couldn't and after yesterday i feel really happy today...

I haven't been able to go to the stables and work for 3 weeks, its been driving me mad, i go to work and pack but in my head all day will be those horses and fields..lol its sad really but i look forward to doing something different on a Friday it helps keep me smiling..

So yesterday i went, i packed what had to go when i got home from dancing and it worked it then left me free to go up there and get dirty... and my god i certainly was this week, my fella just opened the gates and his mouth opened i was literally covered in not so nice smelling stuff and totally drenched to the skin, it never stopped raining all day !lol

Mind you Ive never had so much fun getting wet either..hehe
I'm the type of girl that likes to muck in its good for the soul..

This week non of the guys turned up, they were supposed to be in, but that's probably as Kevin was away at a competition so we called in another girl Sharon and the 3 of us worked our arses off together getting everything done, i loved it !

The atmosphere was brilliant we were singing as we were filling up hay nets and taking it in turns to bring out hot drinks... it just goes to prove how much you can get done when you work well together.. i like both of these girls they are very similar to me, which is probably why they were there yesterday working in the rain....lol

I managed to get my fella to come up and mend a roof... it was running in on polo who's a beautiful chestnut horse i take care of when I'm there, his owner was so pleased, but i cleaned his stable til it shone and then had to watch the rain fill it up afterwards, so something needed doing.. i know what that feels like ..lol so up he comes to pick me up and up he goes up on the ladder, he looked so nice too but the dirty roof soon changed that... i must be such a pain in the bum to live with....lol

But what i got from being there yesterday is priceless to me and it doesn't hurt to do something nice for people, doesn't it feel nice when someone does it for us.....

Thursday was another brilliant night at Cuban salsa, thankfully the dentist did his work so i could smile happily, its a good job he did. i don't think i stopped smiling all night! what was that music Richard it was infectious? we couldn't sit down even my fella got blisters on his feet....lol

we need more guys at this place, so if your sitting at home in that armchair please come along, I was dancing with Paul and couldn't believe how good hes getting, hes a natural.. he even said i could wiggle now as it used to put him off......the confidence is growing week by week now..

The girls doing regaetton was really something else..it was certainly a camera night so next week its coming with me... lol

Were trying to arrange somewhere to stay on the http://www.dancecuban.net/ party night and hes going to try and get us a room there for the night, imagine that dance your feet off then just toddle off upstairs.. failing that ill be taking a tent................. yes i am serious you lot.. i will get to use it before Christmas im determined..Sleeping under those stars sounds pretty irresistible to me..lol if i drink enough i certainly wont feel cold....lol



Today im up early again, ive had enough tea and good songs that im ready for the day today, my fella is off to work so ive got a day to do what i need to.... lol

I wanted to work last night but my kids all asked me to watch a movie with them instead, i dont normally watch tv much but i really enjoyed the night, we shared 2 buckets of candy floss and i let them pick the movie, the mummy returns... it ended up a lovely night, they told me last night they want to see Egypt, and i know i can make that possible if i keep going forward...


My dream is to get to Cuba next April with my fella so i know theres going to be plenty more weeks of working hard in between but if i take a day out when i need a break and spend a few evenings with my friends and family, its enough..........


Enough to keep me happy inside and count myself lucky for everything and everyone i do have around me......

I am certainly lucky that way.......

Alright Jack

I feel so much better tonight , its Monday and Ive actually got out of the house away from work for an hour.............god it was lovely..

Tonight i was riding Jack, hes such a beautiful horse he does make my legs ache though ! I cant get them anywhere near his belly........lol

Tonight we all got some exciting news in a few weeks time we are starting the jumping.... yipeeeeee

God Ive missed that so much, i was always jumping at my last stables but looking back i dont know how i managed to stay on, my balance must be good that's all i can say..it wasn't down to my riding well that's for sure....hehe

I think that's probably why i loved it so much though, its was so exhilarating...

I'm so glad I'm learning technique and how to ride properly now, but theres still a part of me that loved going there Saturdays and jumping those courses, I'm tempted to go and do both places again but my fella wasn't so happy about that part.. lol

Ever since i was a small one Ive always wanted to show jump, I'm still small just a lot older now so its better late than never in my eyes........ roll on that first lesson, it cant come quick enough... I could do with some excitement ...lol

I was speaking to Kevin tonight as we were walking back, i miss going to help out at the stables but due to having to send out parcels Fridays and the bad weather we have encountered, i haven't managed to get there now for 3 weeks, that's got to change this week........Im going come what may.........

Ive worked out ill pack the stuff when i get back from Stalham and our salsa class so i can go and share those Polo's out .. apparently someones missed me...........lol my flirty horse Prince and a few of the poor sods there that have been doing my share..........bless

Its not about the work there, i know how hard work it is, but what it does bring me is inner peace, its sounds like a blond saying but that's exactly how i feel , so calm and content...

I come home shattered and so happy its wonderful, even my fella is pushing me to go back now, he knows how much it means to me being up there..im also very grumpy apparently..lol

I cant have a holiday this year but my grandmother always says "a change is as good as a rest" i never understood what she meant then, but do now.......

We've had a hard weekend with nothing but work and more work, ive tried to make it as pleasurable as possible (no dirty thoughts needed i have plenty of them already) lol but really could do with a change and some fresh air , my fella is a workaholic and wont hear of such a thing........ he'll just take his laptop outside.......lol

Im happy tonight, im now going to grab a lovely bath, a brandy (my back and legs need one) and chill out for an hour (probably fall asleep in there) ...lol

Its amazing really mother nature has a way of changing your day into a great one as much as music does..

I think ill take my headset along this week and see how good the two are together...lol

Thanks to a great group of people and one very beautiful horse ive managed to switch off from work and am smiling tonight.........

Music Nights

Its been a much better end to my week, were still working away tonight so i decided id take some time out and post, i havent been writing much as i simply didnt have much to say (hehe thats a novelty)..

We were supposed to at a party tonight but after seeing what workload my fella has on weve chosen to knuckle down and get it done, bless he went out especially today to get me a new headset, so its the least i could do, stay in cook him something nice and try to help .. its actually been a lovely night....

Im so lucky that way, hes such a good man...

Weve lit the garden up with candles and both have our laptops out here..lol well if youve got to work then ill find a way that makes it feel better, ive loaded my headset with suitable music to chill and although ive been singing my head off out here he hasnt moaned once....lol

Lauren actually told him i should enter the x factor, and he still didnt bite............hehe

Its strange sometimes music has the power to completely put me in a different frame of mind, the same thing happened thursday night, id had such a stressful day worrying about the rain, i walked into Sharon and Richards class and it all just melted away, i came out of that place so happy it was untrue, no matter how tired you are or stressed out you feel , it just goes ..

I had some brilliant dances this week, the rueda was great fun, the guys are getting so good at calling the moves now, its a struggle to stop laughing sometimes when we all do something completely different to what we are supposed to ... but thats half the fun sometimes...lol

Watching Sharon and Richard when they danced to Sharons favourite song still is the highlight for us all there, it isnt until you start these classes you realise just how much goes into the moves, sharon moves so effortlessly its an amazing dance with so much culture and passion behind it, if youve been to a class then youll understand just how much passion cuban salsa brings, when i dance with my fella its like someone turning on a light.. its that great to do and makes you feel incredible....theres a great party coming up so if you want to see cuban salsa at its best then get yourself across to http://www.dancecuban.net/ and book your ticket fast ! anyone who loves the salsa community will not want to miss this..

We all went along to the salsa boat last week, wow what a great night we all had... yes i was very drunk and found it amusing asking all the guys to dance that i havent dared to ask before, vodka definately gave me wings that night..........lol

noone (surprisingly) said no and it made the night memorable for me as some of these dancers ive always wanted to parter but just couldnt pluck up the courage to ask... they were gentlemen too as i remember falling on a couple of them with them holding me up whilst trying to carry on dancing................lol poor things

The view was amazing as the boat lit up the broads, all the people watching on land could see was a boat full of salsa addicts dancing the night away at full volume.... it was so much fun, ive never been out on one before so to salsa and sail was one for the armchair..

Many of our friends were there to share the night with us, which just added to what was a fantastic night for everyone, there wasnt much room to dance but after a few drinks with great music kicking up the party spirits noone seemed to mind.... lol

Hopefully this week we can start back to our lessons again, we may have worked the weekend but if it allows me to join my friends again and free up the week its worth the effort..

The good news is the landlord put in our new drains at the unit which were tested out to the max over the last few days and its worked............ no water not even a muddle outside so now thanks to him its one less worry.. I got to spend the whole day watching Farren in a pair of little shorts.. (i bet youre swearing stell...lol) i made him coffee and my fella gained a new member to his kitty site, he loves his football so it ended up a great finish to a really busy week for us..

Ive just got time to grab a bath and a cuppa and then start again, its going to be an alnighter tonight, but as i now have my music back, ill happily sing the night away while i work..
