Quiet One ! lol

Its been a good weekend, I'm still without my voice though... (was that a hooray i heard then !) lol ..... its a rather strange feeling theres just nothing there.....lol

I'm agreeing with everything my fella says, and just nodding at the right bits, so i think secretly hes enjoying the peace and quiet...lol

It has seemed to worked its way to my ears and neck this morning so hes convinced Ive got laryngitis... hehe imagine that.. peace and quiet not having to answer everyones calls here !! hehe

Today is clean the house up day, i have my headset on as usual, but sadly cant sing.......

Last night we had another good night with the kids, so pampered them silly and just had a good family night... they are a good bunch really.. there are just a lot of them...lol

I was going to work today but im not allowed to, my fellas said no i have been told i have to rest up a bit today.. me putting my feet up are you kidding ! ill be bored in ten minutes unless Brad Pitts on the tv of course.......

Its a beautiful day (so far) so I'm going to go out and tackle the garden... the winds blew alot of the apples off the tree so I'm going to make good use of them and bake a pie....... lol

Im starting the day off in good steed and cooking everyone a breakfast here, it makes me giggle as soon as they smell that bacon they will be coming down the stairs in lines.......lol

I love Sundays like this, there is no rush to do anything today, just as and when...............

Tomorrow it will be back to normal and looking like a mad house as usual....... so I'm making the most of today and hoping that sun stays out for us......

Right its time to go drink my tea with the birds outside, i have a garden that Dr Doolittle would envy here now, amazing really, its not just men that think with their stomachs..... those birds do too.......................lol

Low Slung

The weeks dragging on or so it seems, theres been little fun or conversation at home as my fellas engrossed in something and doesn't seem to notice im there...lol

The kids are coming home and trying to wreck everything im trying to keep organised, but im not backing down, so its meant, come home eat, get washing done, clean up and bed... its what people call boring........

Today its my sisters birthday so im hoping the office will be a giggle, Estelle's been sending me texts from America, and making me smile though, it must be costing them a fortune, but shes got me a hat !! we go on about my loving cowgirl hats and their first day there apparently off they went to find one, so it really made my day, the hats sexy as hell, and will be coming with me on my next holiday for definite...

We've been talking about Christmas here and the over commercialisation of it all, its the run up that we all enjoy, every ones usually so happy, until it gets to the day itself and it bores the hell out of you, everyone eats too much lays there like a balloon and ends up asleep all afternoon...lol

My step dad would do it regularly and as a child the only part i used to enjoy was the Christmas eve cooking with my nanny, with grandad slipping me the odd port or sherry (telling me not to tell my mum) so im going to take the kids a step backwards this year ( not give the kids sherry) but pack a picnic and take them out Christmas eve, they are like me in regards they love being anywhere near water or nature, so im going to come up with something a bit different and hopefully give them some memories that are better than the ones i grew up with...

Next year ive promised were are going somewhere in a log cabin where its snowing and light the biggest fire we can build.....

I must have been bored last night i went shopping online and bought myself some new jeans, (thats !!!! pairs now) its crazy but when i saw them i was trying to choose a pair, and as i was a tad annoyed at my fella, i bought both pairs..lol its the first time ive done that or used retail therapy to cheer myself up, but it was good, these are 4.5 inch rise so im interested to see really just how low i can wear them, to date 5 inches is the lowest ive got, but anyone with a bum will fall short as you end up with a builders bum, so although im always moaning i haven't got curves or much of a bum, but when it comes to jeans it makes me feel better, as i can wear ones other jeans cannot reach...........lol

Unwinding

It was a better day today, Estelle's been singing to me at work and the sun was shining away so it was a nice day.....

The kids went off happily this morning and it feels like ive walked in to a different house, its strangely silent (which im not used to ) i do hope they are having a great time ...

I had visitors at the unit today my friends Sarah and Nikita came to see me from riding so i was really pleased, they spent an afternoon at the unit going through the clothes and left with a bin bag so im pleased they liked it, i had to giggle though as when they came into my office the first thing they spotted was my fellas picture hanging up on the wall that our friends presented him with for his 40th.. so as you can imagine it isn't that tame...lol but i had hung over the top of a certain part of his anatomy a 'show me your tackle badge' (to protect his modesty of course) and both girls lifted it up while he sat there! i know i shouldn't have laughed but its the first time this week i did....... i just couldn't stop.............lol

Weve came home to the same tidy house i left this morning, im getting dinner cooked for me and just had a long bubble bath, so im making the most of the next couple of days.......

Tonight i am doing something really nice and doing absolutely nothing..........lol

Couldn't we have this one day a year instead of all those mothers day chocolates...lol

we never get to eat them as the kids always eat them and leave the empty wrappers...

And a day of peace sounds like the perfect treat for all of us mums out there......as it really is a rarity in a house like mine..........

I can even find the remote !!!!!! lol
